Brendan Hines-Ike began his professional career in the Swedish Allsvenskan with Örebro SK, recording four goals and three assists in 70 appearances from 2016 to 2018. He then transferred to KV Kortrijk of the Belgian Jupiler Pro League, playing 53 times between 2018 and 2021. He joined D.C. United on loan in 2021 and signed permanently on January 4, 2022. Austin FC Brendan Hines-Ike joined Austin FC as a free agent on February 14, 2024. During his first season he made 28 MLS appearances with 25 starts, played the full 90 minutes in 7 of the team's 9 clean sheets, and scored two goals including a 93rd-minute winner in a 3-2 home victory over Colorado Rapids. Austin FC He made 33 starts in 2025 — the best season of his career — and his contract automatically renewed for 2026 after he met performance clauses.
