The king is back! In order to keep the listeners engaged while TJ is away, Sam was able to get James back on the mic. Unfortunately for us, the king turned into the washed king in a matter of months because he admittedly has been so focused on school . While James tries to blame his lack of recent sports hiatus on a streaming service, we come to find out that this might actually be user error. Nonetheless, Sam and James do their best job of trying to field a conversation even though their collective ball knowledge is low these days. In this episode, Sam gives his secret to getting your phone buzzing more than any dating app ever will, while James gives his feedback on recent episodes and wonders if anyone is actually manning the podcast email inbox. With the limited screen time he's been given this fall, James gives his two cents on the Kawhi Leonard saga and the NBA betting scandal. As any true Seattle homer would, he comes to Steve Ballmer's defense. With TJ gone, Sam thought this would be an appropriate time to talk about Ja Morant's off the court struggles and why it might be happening. James & Sam wrap up the discussion by hinting at a potential in-person episode when the fellas head west in a couple of weeks.
