meditation_munchies_movementWhen does self improvement turn into an unhealthy obsession? What is the difference between, meditation, prayer and compulsive rumination? What makes alternative Medicine, eastern philosophy and non linear thinking so attractive to people feeling uprooted in a materialistic society? Why do 2 out of three people have a problem with over-consumption or impulsive or obsessive behaviors? What do sleep and dreams have to do with living well? What's the difference between getting well and feeling healthy? These questions have fascinated me some time and I have ruminated on them for way too long. So far, I have not been able to come to a conclusion. So exploring these Questions in the form of a podcast is an attempt at summarizing my timid conclusions and asking for input from people who might get engaged in the discussion. Are we determined to live out our lives due to luck and circumstance or are we masters of our own fate? When do you try harder and when do you stop trying so hard?Who is to tell, for now, I will try to upload the first few episodes and watch what happens.Ruminations turning into meditations. A beginning of movement. I'm feeling hungry. Munchies. Om nom nom. hope to hear from you soon!

Immortal Jellyfish- Who is Roderick J Wollgamot?

In this episode Roderick j Wolgamott AKA Rodrigo Romero opens up about his life as a musician and poet, tree house designer and builder and intimate friend to some fairly well know personalities from the echelons of pop culture and Hollywood. A life with many ups and downs, a trajectory of anpredictable outcomes and self inflicted turns and twists that I believe can serve as an example of how making choices and working through the consequences of those choices makes a life truly authentic and genuinely well lived, regardless of the tough outcomes that may have resulted from some of those choices. I really appreciate the openness and honesty that Rodrick brought to the table and I hope that the listener will refrain from judgement and dismissal of some of the more controversial subjects we touched upon in this interview in favor of an appreciation for the intimacy and deep insights that he has allowed us with baring his life's trials and tribulations in such a deep and soul searching fashion. your feedback and comments are highly appreciated, please keep them as honest and forthcoming as the matters discussed in this episode and feel free to join the conversation in a spirit of playful investigation, open minded inquisitiveness and artistic expression.
