For our final episode of the Junction Podcast we have the Travel Tales with Fergal Podcast interview with debut author Louise Nealon which was recorded live in the amazing new Junction Dome during the festival. Louise Nealonchats with Fergal O'Keeffe about her experiences in the last year from getting an agent, to writing her book Snowflake, to getting Snowflake published and then going straight to No.1 in the Irish bestseller charts. This interview will be of interest to anyone who loves writing as we delve into the writing process and the inspirations that fuel her creativity. The Clonmel Junction Arts Festival is in full swing with lots of events every day until Sunday, 11th July. I chat with Eamon O’Malley who closes the festival on Sunday with his band CLE. As it is the 20th anniversary of the festival this year, I also talk to some production techies from the past and present who share festival memories including the current Production Manager Colin Everitt without whom the festival would just not happen. We also talk to past techies Michael Lonergan and Wes Hughes. We had the launch of the festival at our brand new Dome on Saturday and we hear the new Clonmel Mayor Michael Murphy, board member John Kennedy, Paul Walsh from Royseven, Senator Garrett Ahearn and Celine Scully from the Clonmel Credit Union.
