Psalm 48

Psalm 48 is a psalm reflecting the glory of God in Zion. It descibes the city of God as beautiful in elevation and the joy of the whole earth. God is in her palaces; He is known as her refuge and a guide even to the end.

Psalm 47

Psalm 47 is a song of praise to the God of all the earth. It enjoins the people of God to rejoice with shouting and clap their hands to the Lord, for He is our God most high.

Psalm 46

Psalm 46 is a fantastic psalm proclaiming God as the ultimate refuge and strength for His people. It also talks about the river whose streams shall make glad the city of God, which stirs up in the heart of a believer and causes joy and stillness even in the face of challenges.  God is in the midst of her, she shall not be moved. It encourages us to be still and know that He is God!

Psalm 45

Psalm 45 is a beautiful psalm about the glories of the Messiah and his bride. It expresses how our hearts should grow in gratitide towards God. It also demonstrates the beauty and loveliness of the Son, Jesus Christ, and how His bride, the Church should respond to that beauty. Amen!

Psalm 44

Psalm 44 was titled by the NKJV as 'Redemption Remembered in Present Dishonor'. The Psalmist recalled the faithfulness of God to their fathers and in past experiences, and uses it as a precedent that God is to be trusted for the now. He acknowledges that they did not gain possession of the land by their own sword, nor did their own arm save them. But it was God's right hand, Your arm, and the light of Your countenance. He then asks God to command victories for them.
