An "Energy Healer" Tried To Assault Me

I ended up experiencing a period of depression during my vanlife travels- unrelated to my direct experience in the van. However, during that time I got myself into a tricky situation with another van lifer who claimed to be an energy healer. He was not upfront about his underlaying sexual desires and intent when he offered me an energy work session. I talk about how I handled it. Then directly after, I searched for a shower and ended up getting yelled at by an angry old man at an RV park. That was a very, very strange night.

I Went to a Music Festival by Myself.

A Homeless Man Gave Me His Quarters [RE-UPLOADED]

The title says it all. A homeless man gives me money the day of this episode. Which brings about huge realizations to a 23 year old midwestern girl who’s just starting to explore the world. Some of which may seem like a no brainer to folks in certain parts of the world, but shook me awake, being someone who’s had little exposure to large homeless populations. These realizations made me notice the areas where I was holding judgements unconsciously. This experience opens my mind deeply and brings awareness to my own greed. After the story-time, I give an update on my journey of meeting people and exploring new towns. I start to get exhausted from treating my new lifestyle as a vacation and realize I need to take time to nourish myself as well.
