Dino & Sasha

Today we welcome Dino and Sasha. Sasha is Dino's 8 year-old German Shepherd Service Dog. Dino was a police officer in and around Chicago for 19 years before realizing he needed help. I first got to meet met Dino and Sasha when participating in Leon’s canine triathlon 2023. Nick & Freddy

Today I interview my co-host Nick who was an active 26 year old police officer, enjoying a quiet vacation when he suddenly suffered a cardiac arrest. Nick has had to overcome many obstacles in the aftermath, but has since received help from his attentive and athletic service dog, Freddy.
