295 episodiosSi & Veronica are repping the USA for this double header episode 293! Joey is getting into the swing of his dates and already has a helicopter ride and a tumultuous pool party under his belt. The women have been showing if they have the right stuff with a wedding themed date, a Bachelor Boot Camp, the first ever Bachelor Open, and a Mrs. Right Pageant. The ASKN Golden Bachelor ladies helped host the pageant and we wonder what the timeline with filming both of those shows was like. ABC is really pulling out all the stops with the budget this season… which makes sense when you see the pool party is fully sponsored by KFC. Daisy and Jenn are both looking like front runners after some amazing one-on-one dates. Meanwhile, the main drama is between Maria and Sydney. Maria is being her bold self and Sydney is blowing it out of proportion, which means it will be time for a 2-on-1 date next week. Has the Bachelor become too therapy speak heavy that people throw the word bully around to harm other people’s reputation? Joey so far has proved to have some awareness when it comes to the “drama” and can sort of see through Sydney. It has been interesting to see the show try to make Maria out to be the villain.. When she definitely is not. Join us for what is always a good time and leave us a rating and review for a shoutout! Si & Veronica are back on the pod together and are taking on the game, set, and hopeful match of Joey with episode 293! New year, new season and seemingly new budget as Joey’s first episode started with a Billie Eilish song… Joey seems to be the perfectly flexible lead with no real home (stuff is in storage and at his parents until after the show) and is a handsome nice guy to boot. The girls didn’t go heavy handed on tennis puns, surprisingly, but there were some standout entrances that didn’t include a limo at all! Lexi was the first out of the limo and is an Atlanta girl who has endometriosis and is one to watch. Daisy rolled in a Christmas tree farm truck and matched Joey’s demure energy. Maria got the quirky edit off the bat and brought more life to conversations with Joey. Drama started when Jess was the first to kiss and tell AND steal time from another woman for a second go! There is a set of sisters that have made that their whole personality and really thought more people would care that they were sisters. Lea was the winner from after the final rose and came in with a mysterious non-date card to find out that it would allow her to steal a one-on-one date from another woman. She is verklempt about the whole ordeal and ends up burning the card to eliminate that as a tool and that earned her the First Impression Rose. By the looks of the season preview, Joey might not have a typical happy ending or engagement… but we will have to follow along to see! Si & Veronica are back on the pod together for the real episode 292! We talked about The Hollywood Reporter article that painted Gerry as… a human with past relationships! Even after all these years and spinoffs, Gerry’s story was still about the fairytale. And we are intrigued by the televised Golden Wedding coming in 2024. The beach seemed lackluster this year and we are wondering what could help spice it up. Do they need more challenges? Better character development? Smarter production around who gets what dates? It doesn’t help that the three main couples (Aven/Kylee, John Henry/Kat, and Aaron B./Eliza) all have announced their breakups/called off engagements this past week! What does the future of the franchise look like? We don’t know the answer to that, but we do give an answer to the future of the pod. We are going to evolve into being purely based on the schedule of when the Bachelor franchise shows are on and we are still figuring out what that will look like. We are taking a much needed holiday break and hope you stick with us into the new year! It’s not goodbye, it is see you later! Veronica is riding solo again this week for another installment of a Tipsy Talks turned episode 291! It was the live finale for Gerry and his final two ladies. Theresa and Leslie both meet the other ladies in Gerry’s life: his daughters and granddaughters. Even they are undecided on who he should choose. But Gerry’s different mannerisms set off alarms for Leslie, which leads to an emotional and blindsided breakup. All of this in the wake of the Hollywood Reporter article that had a former girlfriend speak about how he led her on. But, now things are coming up golden roses for Gerry and Theresa and they even got a trip to Italy! Meanwhile on the beaches of Paradise, things are getting real as the ladies have the roses. Blake and Jess have a convo that turns into Blake leaving. Tyler admits he isn’t feeling the spark with Mercedes and he bounces too. Now Jess and Mercedes get to be the full hot commodities that they are! Rachel has the spot of giving out the last rose, but both her most recent connections already have roses so she leaves alone. Next week will be the finale on the beach and we will have to wait to see who is getting married! Join us for what is always a good time and leave us a rating and review for a shoutout! Veronica is riding solo this week for another installment of a Tipsy Talks turned episode 290! Gerry and his final ladies are in Costa Rica taking the plunge in waterfalls and riding horseback… as well as unlocking the fantasy suites! Gerry is in love with both Leslie and Theresa but for way different reasons. Will he choose exciting and bi-midwestern or will he choose understanding and longer distance? Meanwhile on the beaches of Paradise, Olivia gets her redemption date with Michael and sparks fly. Two more dudes enter the beach and Jordan gets a second chance with Rachel, after a year and a half from their date on her season of the Bachelorette. The other dude… is Taylor? From Charity’s season? The coeds are trying to make their final arrangements for the last days of paradise when Katie Thurston walks in and ruffles the feathers of the recently reconciled Blake and Jess. The whole beach is up in flames after a roast hosted by Katie and leaves us wondering how many of the ladies will even give out their roses. We will all have to wait in suspense as we eat turkey next week! Join us for what is always a good time and leave us a rating and review for a shoutout!
