Love Like Jesus┃The Jesus Way┃February 8, 2026┃Pastor Matt Willingham

In Gospel of John 13:34–35, Jesus gives His disciples a defining mark: love one another as He has loved us. This message explores what that kind of love truly looks like—not sentimental or convenient, but sacrificial, intentional, and transformative. Drawing from Romans 12, we’ll discover the source of Jesus-style love (a heart changed by Him), the shape of Jesus-style love (humble, empathetic, and inclusive), and the practice of Jesus-style love (choosing peace, rejecting retaliation, and acting in obedience even when it’s hard). This sermon challenges us to move beyond passive kindness into active, Christlike love that becomes the evidence of a life genuinely transformed by Jesus. episode The Jesus Way┃February 1, 2026┃Senior Pastor, Dr. Phil Willingham artwork

The Jesus Way┃February 1, 2026┃Senior Pastor, Dr. Phil Willingham

This message focuses on discipleship as a way of life, not just a set of beliefs. Drawing from Mark 1:16–18 and Matthew 11:28–29, Senior Pastor Dr. Phil Willingham teaches that following Jesus is personal, immediate, and transformational. Discipleship is not about information—it’s about imitation. The sermon challenges us to examine what we’re holding onto that may be limiting where Jesus wants to lead us. When we release our “nets” in obedience, Jesus replaces them with purpose. Discipleship is about formation, not performance—true rest is found in alignment with Jesus, not pressure or religious striving. As we learn to be with Jesus, we are empowered by the Spirit to live on mission, allowing transformation to lead to multiplication. God isn’t looking for ability, but availability, as He calls us to follow, be formed, and be sent. episode It’s Not Mine to Carry┃Prayer That Shifts Heaven┃January 25, 2026┃Pastor Matt Willingham artwork

It’s Not Mine to Carry┃Prayer That Shifts Heaven┃January 25, 2026┃Pastor Matt Willingham

This message reminds us that prayer is not just about shifting our hearts—it’s about releasing what was never meant for us to carry. Using Matthew 6:25–34, Pastor Matt teaches that worry is rooted in control, fear of provision, and anxiety about tomorrow. Prayer becomes the place where we stop gripping tightly and begin trusting fully. The sermon shows that worry reveals who we’re relying on, while prayer becomes the exchange point where anxiety is submitted rather than suppressed. Control and trust cannot coexist—peace comes when we let go and seek God’s kingdom first. Prayer doesn’t deny reality, but it refuses to let worry have the final word. When we trust God today, His peace stands guard over our hearts, even when life feels uncertain. episode The Gift of Enough┃Prayer That Shifts Heaven┃January 18, 2026┃Pastor Matt Willingham artwork

The Gift of Enough┃Prayer That Shifts Heaven┃January 18, 2026┃Pastor Matt Willingham

This message teaches that prayer is not about changing God’s will to fit our desires, but allowing God to reshape our hearts to trust Him more fully. Drawing from Psalm 37:3–7 and Matthew 6:10–11, Pastor Matt emphasizes that prayer realigns what we want, how we see, and who we trust. God is far more interested in transforming our hearts than fixing our circumstances. The sermon highlights that prayer begins with surrender, not requests. As we delight in the Lord and commit our ways to Him, our desires begin to match God’s design. Rather than chasing answers or control, prayer teaches us to trust God’s provision, embrace His purpose, and rest patiently in Him. When we seek God’s will first, we discover that what He provides—our “daily bread”—is truly enough.
