Acerca de I Don’t Give a Care

We all care way too much… about opinions, expectations, and being liked instead of actually being real. "I Don’t Give a Care" is for anyone who’s tired of dimming their light to fit in and ready to finally let go of shit that doesn’t matter. Through unfiltered convos on life in your 20s, grief & loss, mental health, toxic relationships, family dynamics, friendship, spirituality, and wild story times, everything is on the table. This podcast is about honesty, connection, and growing into your authentic self without caring about what anyone thinks anymore.

episode born to create, forced to survive. artwork

born to create, forced to survive.

Soooo if I’m being honest… lately I’ve been feeling really down about this rat race called “life”. I started a new job, bills were due, money had to be made, and I got pulled away from the one thing I actually want to do- to create.  And it’s not even that I didn’t have time to create… I was just mentally exhausted from constantly thinking about surviving and stressing over everything. I feel like so many of us are living in a constant state of survival mode, and it’s been normalized in our society. In this episode, I talk about how I truly believe we are all naturally born creators and we’re not meant to spend our whole lives stuck in survival mode, working ourselves to death just to barely afford basic necessities. We’re meant to create, experience life, see the world, and actually enjoy being alive while we’re here. Creativity isn’t just art either, it’s cooking, building things, and thinking outside of the box we’ve all been confined to. My spiritual awakening after psychedelics completely changed the way I see life and what I actually want for myself. This was also the beginning of me getting into meditation, manifestation, affirmations, subliminals, quantum leaping, shifting realities, and all the spiritual stuff that honestly helped me stop feeling so trapped mentally. I end things off with some advice I think we could all use… that we need to wake up to the fact that living like this isn’t normal, to create even when you’re exhausted, use manifestation and positive content to change your reality, and lastly… sometimes just living a little delusional is better than being consumed by the rat race.  Song/Music: Neon Signs by Simon Folwar https://uppbeat.io/browse/artist/simon-folwar [https://uppbeat.io/browse/artist/simon-folwar%E2%81%A0] Linktree: https://linktr.ee/idgacpodcast [https://linktr.ee/idgacpodcast] Instagram: https://www.instagram.com/idgacpodcast/ [https://www.instagram.com/idgacpodcast/]  Youtube: https://www.youtube.com/@IDontGiveACarePodcast [https://www.youtube.com/@IDontGiveACarePodcast]

stop sitting on your potential (10 ways to become a more confident you)

I hate to break it to you… but a lot of us are sitting on our potential. And it all comes down to one thing: confidence. Confidence isn’t something you’re born with, it’s something you build. It’s the make-or-break factor between staying stuck where you are and becoming the person you know you’re meant to be. In this episode, we’re diving into 10 powerful ways to become a more confident version of you, and maybe even the most confident person in the room.  As someone who has struggled with confidence for many years, I’ve learned that real confidence isn’t about convincing other people of your worth… it’s about convincing yourself until you fully believe it. Time Stamps: (0:01) We’re sleeping on our potential (2:00) why confidence actually matters (5:05) 1. fake it till you make it (5:58) 2. look good, feel good (7:11) 3. take action (8:10) 4. keep promises to yourself (8:48) 5. have strong networking skills  (10:10) 6. walk into rooms with purpose (11:58) 7. change your perspective, change your life (14:08) 8. speak up for yourself and for others (14:55) 9. find people that light you up  (17:03) 10. don’t be afraid to share your opinions  (19:05) closing thoughts Linktree: https://linktr.ee/idgacpodcast [https://linktr.ee/idgacpodcast] IG: https://www.instagram.com/jessvissuals [https://www.instagram.com/jessvissuals]  Watch on Youtube: https://www.youtube.com/@IDontGiveACarePodcast [https://www.youtube.com/@IDontGiveACarePodcast] Music: Neon Signs by Simon Folwar https://uppbeat.io/browse/artist/simon-folwar [https://uppbeat.io/browse/artist/simon-folwar%E2%81%A0]

the power of not oversharing (why everything doesn't need an audience)

Let’s be real for a minute… some of us (myself included) love announcing our plans to the world like we already did something. Starting a new business? Wanting to run a marathon? Planning on moving across the country? Saving to buy a house?  But… maybe you haven’t actually done the work yet to achieve that goal (or you never even started) and then all of a sudden you never did what you told everyone you were going to do. (oops) Sound familiar? Yeah... unfortunately I feel you.  In this episode, I’m getting into the power of not oversharing and why sometimes it’s better to stop telling people our plans until we’ve already done them. We talk about: * Why we feel the urge to tell everyone our plans (and why it actually sabotages us) * How oversharing tricks your brain into thinking you’ve already accomplished something * How we don’t always need an audience * The times I’ve overshared and immediately regretted it * How “evil eye” is a real thing (not everyone needs access to you) * The power in privacy and “moving in silence” * Being selective about who you confide in * Protecting yourself and your goals  Sometimes we’re more in love with the idea of our goals than actually doing them… and that’s why we talk so much about them. In 2026, let’s do less talking and more doing. Cheers to reaching our goals this year, yeeeeehaw!🤠 “Are you climbing the mountain for the world to see you… or for you to see the world?” All of my links: https://linktr.ee/idgacpodcast [https://linktr.ee/idgacpodcast] IG: https://www.instagram.com/jessvissuals [https://www.instagram.com/jessvissuals] Watch on Youtube: https://www.youtube.com/@IDontGiveACarePodcast [https://www.youtube.com/@IDontGiveACarePodcast]

episode Celebrate them, even in death. artwork

Celebrate them, even in death.

Today is my brother Ryan's birthday, and he would have been 33... Happy Aries szn y'alllll!!! This week we'll be talking all about celebrating someone you love even after they’re "gone", because guess what? Just because they died doesn’t mean we stop celebrating or loving them. I’m breaking down all the wild, chaotic, legendary ways we’ve kept his memory alive over the years. From talking about the iconic band tees I designed in his honor, the massive celebration of life we threw on what would’ve been his 30th birthday, the legacy video I made with all our wholesome childhood videos, and how me and my sister literally got his story on the news while fighting for the justice he still deserves. I also get into our matching tattoos and The Lion King symbolism, the spiritual signs my brother has sent us, and how keeping someone’s memory alive makes you feel closer to them than you think. To end it off, we talk about how important it is to have people who let you talk about your loved one and even get excited about it too. This episode is your reminder: celebrate them, even in death. how to exist in a world you feel misunderstood by

Have you ever been told that your feelings are “too much”... that you’re too sensitive…that it’s not that deep? Even though your entire life it really has been that deep for you?  If so, then you’re probably a sensitive soul with a big heart… someone who’s felt misunderstood most of their life. It can feel really lonely existing in a world that doesn’t always value depth, where people lack empathy and don’t meet you on that emotional level. A lot of people like us also tend to become huge people pleasers, often putting others before themselves. Somewhere along the way, we were made to feel like something was wrong with us or that we needed to change to be accepted. Well, I’m here to tell you that our empathy is not a weakness. It is actually our superpower and we need people like us in the world. It’s time to stop trying so hard to fit in and be normal, and to instead embrace your sensitive nature and big heart– it is something that the world needs more of.
