Indiana Fever Files | with Scott Agness
The Indiana Fever rolled past the LA Sparks 111-87 on Saturday night at Gainbridge Fieldhouse, leading by as many as 35 points in one of their most complete wins of the season. Caitlin Clark, Kelsey Plum and Cameron Brink were all sidelined, but Indiana took care of business in the featured CBS primetime game. The Fever had 11 of 12 players score, shot 55% from the field, 53% from 3-point range and 82% at the free-throw line. Kelsey Mitchell led all scorers with 26 points, and Indiana now heads into a weeklong break before beginning a road trip July 5 in Las Vegas. Perhaps the best moment of the night came off the court, with longtime usher Judy being surprised by her son, who she hadn’t seen in seven years due to military deployments.
