Recap: Fever Blast Aces Again Behind Mitchell, Boston, and Cunningham’s 3s

LAS VEGAS — My recap of the Fever's win over the Las Vegas Aces for the second time in a week, 109-75, behind another dominant defensive performance and a decisive 23-5 run spanning the third and fourth quarters. Kelsey Mitchell scored 27 points, Aliyah Boston finished with 19 points and 11 rebounds, and Sophie Cunningham made six 3-pointers — two more than the entire Aces roster. Caitlin Clark added 12 points, seven rebounds, and six assists while playing under a 25-minute restriction. Recap: Fever Pummel Sparks 111-87 for Feel-Good Win Before Weeklong Break

The Indiana Fever rolled past the LA Sparks 111-87 on Saturday night at Gainbridge Fieldhouse, leading by as many as 35 points in one of their most complete wins of the season. Caitlin Clark, Kelsey Plum and Cameron Brink were all sidelined, but Indiana took care of business in the featured CBS primetime game. The Fever had 11 of 12 players score, shot 55% from the field, 53% from 3-point range and 82% at the free-throw line. Recap: Enough is Enough. Clark Leaves Game With Injury, Steph White Speaks Out

The Indiana Fever suffered a 111-109 loss on Wednesday to the Phoenix Mercury, their second meeting in three games. Kelsey Mitchell scored a game-high 30 points before fouling out with 22 seconds left. But this game will be remembered for Caitlin Clark exiting the game with a back injury in the third quarter, not returning, and then head coach Stephanie White having her back postgame. Enough is enough. "Absolutely unacceptable!" White said. "We spent all offseason looking at officiating. All offseason. And I still say the one thing that we keep asking for is consistency. (Caitlin Clark) is not called the same way everybody else is called." Alyssa Thomas was seen putting her knee to Clark's groin, then fist to throat in the first half; Valeriane Ayayi had a reckless close-out on a 3-point attempt by Clark that was not called either. At least on that one, they went to the monitor, but did not upgrade the foul. Now... how will the league respond? Will they? Clark is the golden goose, the face of the league, and more. The Fever are disgusted with how she has been treated in many ways, but especially with officiating. Player health is everything and this directly impacts her availability.
