There will be times when you will have to stretch your pennies further than your mates could ever imagine. Usually, after you’ve paid for your travel, car, phone, gym, and all the other bits and pieces, going out for a meal or picking up fancy food is something you simply might not be able to afford. Or maybe you like experimenting in the kitchen and love to cook. Here are 5 dishes you could entertain with by adding some extra ingredients and oils, seasonings, and cheaper ingredients to give them a lift and create a depth of flavour. Never be ashamed of what you have or have not. Do your best to make them tasty and nutritious so you don’t feel disadvantaged. Enjoy whatever you can come up with and have fun making it. My only rule is that you add colour for your overall health.
