The world renowned street artist Michael Thompson is the man behind the celebratory mural marking thirty years of global succsess of the Dundalk band, The Corrs. Michael's distinct, detailed spray-paint style has made him a staple in Dundalk's thriving public art scene. The Corrs honoured in Dundalk on May 29 2026

A series of events are due to take place today in Dundalk in honour of The Corrs. The events will conclude in a Civic Reception at the An Táin Arts Centre this evening May 29th. There will be an official viewing of The Corrs mural at the Longwalk at 2:30pm this afternoon followed by a celebration of the band at the County museum an hour later.
