492 permits. Over 1,000 people. One route. My first Everest 2026 season was, honestly, a lot. This is the full story - the chaos, the records, and the moments that had me staring at my screen with my jaw on the floor. A 55-meter ice serac in the Khumbu Icefall delayed the entire season by three weeks. Queues backed up to breaking point. And one Sherpa guide (Hillary Dawa Sherpa) was left for dead at Camp 4... and somehow found alive days later. Kami Rita Sherpa hit his 32nd summit. A double amputee climbed on his arms. Shaunna Burke, the first person with Stage 4 cancer reached the top. And somehow, 274 people summited in a single day - smashing every record in history. But five people didn't make it home. One went missing and was later found alive. And the question nobody wants to answer is: was any of this avoidable? This is Everest 2026 - record crowds, record summits, and a mountain that still does whatever it wants. Should they cap the permits? Is Mount Everest Climbing becoming too dangerous? Let me know what you think in the comments. 🛋️ New videos every week - Everest disasters, survival stories, and people doing absolutely unhinged things. 🔔 Hit subscribe so you never miss a story. He woke up in a grave of ice. (Everest’s most unhinged survival story!)

Beck Weathers shouldn't be alive. In 1996, Mount Everest decided he was done - and his team agreed. This is the unhinged true survival story of a man who was left for dead in the Everest death zone not once, but twice. While we look back at the 30-year legacy of the 1996 tragedy, we’re diving into the mystery of how Beck managed to walk back to camp when his body had already turned to ice. From the sofa, we’re breaking down the ethics of abandonment and the miracle that followed. He Got Trapped at 28,000 Feet! The 1996 Everest Disaster

Exactly 30 years ago, the 1996 Everest Disaster changed high-altitude climbing forever. From Rob Hall's heartbreaking last call to his wife, to the unhinged chaos of the storm - this is what really happened. May 10, 1996. Eight people never made it home in a single 24-hour period on the world's highest mountain. What started as a commercial summit attempt with Adventure Consultants ended in one of the most devastating days in mountaineering history. And 30 years later, we're still asking how it happened. Rob Hall - one of the most respected guides on the mountain - made his final radio call to his pregnant wife from 29,000 feet. Alone. In a storm. With no oxygen left. This is that story. We're also diving into the chaos that unfolded around him - from Beck Weathers being left for dead (twice) to Anatoli Boukreev 's controversial decisions that still divide the climbing community to this day. If you've read Into Thin Air by Jon Krakauer, you know how unhinged this gets. If you haven't - you're about to find out. Everest 30 years later, and the mountain still wins. The question is: whose fault was it? Drop your thoughts in the comments. I'M DONE | The Moment She Almost Quit Everest

Everest survival stories reached a new level of unhinged in 2022. While Everest 2026 brings new rules, the story of Jane and Gabby Kanizay remains a masterclass in survival ethics. I sat down with Jane Kanizay to hear the raw truth about the moment she looked at her daughter, Gabby, and said: "I'M DONE." In this Mount Everest summit interview, we dive into the terrifying reality of going blind in the Death Zone, how easy it is to run out of oxygen, and why Jane’s daughter refused to let her quit just 900 meters from the top. We also discuss the "Teach Us Consent" campaign and what it’s really like for the youngest Australian to achieve an Everest-Lhotse double summit. Everest's $20 Million Problem is Getting Worse!

Everest is a lawless place where survival has a price tag - and for the Everest 2026 season, that bill is rigged. From $31,000 helicopter rescues for a headache to forged signatures (and NOT baking soda poisoning) in the death zone, the $20 million insurance scandal is just the tip of the iceberg. ⛰️🫣 In this episode of Lawless Everest, I’m diving into the unhinged reality of high-altitude fraud. We’re looking at the tragic abandonment of Nils Antezana, the "Photoshop" peaks of fake summiters, oxygen theft and the $20 million insurance conspiracy tearing the mountain apart. If you thought the mountain was dangerous because of the weather, wait until you hear about the people.
