Descripción

This is the secret to lowering your pressure and perfection on yourself. If you are coming to dance infrequently, the way you approach dance will be different than when you come more frequently. The reps matter.  Rep = 1 class 1 opportunity (one shot). That means everything counts. If you mess up you feel it more. You're harder on yourself. You weigh things so heavily.  Coming more frequently (getting in the reps) is the answer to experience less pressure and freedom from perfection. How To Critique Your Dance Through Observation and Without Judgement | Ep 108

There is a way you can take in information and not be so mean to yourself.  On the dance floor observations turn into judgements fast and its because of expectations. An observation will lead us to a conclusion and when you observe with judgement that conclusion is a negative one about yourself.  In this episode, we talk about how to heighten your awareness to know when the  judgements are coming. How to take note so that you can intervene. ex. Forgetting a moment in routine ..  We go over how to observe and understand that one mistake is never permanent and its always fluctuating and that there is a certain time constraint with the amount of observations/dance routine.  Follow: Krissy: @krissyphillipino KDFSTUDIO: @kdfstudio
