Whats up everyone, this is a new series we are going to do, where we talk to some disc golf with some players who want to tell their story. Myself, Wyman and Mike May love to talk disc golf and who better with then some amazing players. There are some really good golfers out there that have traveled some miles and thrown some rounds and we want to hear their story. Who better to get for the first installment then Jamie Callis. Here on ep 21 we have Mike May back for some thoughts and theories of disc golf. We talk about the Tour Championship both men and women. We talk about next season schedule and how it is Calvin, Issac, Kyle and Gannon world to rule in 2024 We talk local big tourney the Arkansas Open Sponsored by Subaru of Little Rock. The conditions were exactly what the course needs to make it a pro style course. The wind is not your friend and by the look of the amount of DNF's it wasnt very friendly. Well the 3rd time was a charm with James Lecy with him being a guest. We got to sit down with the TD of the Arkansas Open Sponsored by Subaru of Little Rock. The ALL PRO tourney is being held out at StoneLinks Disc Golf Course and is maintained by the NLR Parks. It is different than any course in the Central Ark. Area where wind is not your friend in the open course. This tourney has drawn some big regional names to the capital city. James has put some time in getting all the OBs painted and double checking that caddie book. He talks about all this and more, so Wyman and I hope you enjoy this episode. What a special treat we have for Episode 19, we have 2 Master Legends. Ron Convers Jr and Jamie Callis are 2 of the best Masters around. Along with those 2, we have Bob Ellis, Mr Coast to Coast Disc Golf Dude. He was nice enough to put me up during the 2023 Arkansas Masters Tourney in Mountain View. We talk about how they got started in disc golf and what their first rated round was. We also talk about what disc you need in your bag that not many players bag. Oh my Ep 18 is maybe the best and odd one yet. I travel to Pangburn Ark, and stay with Mike May at his boyhood home on the Lil Red River. So if you like the Steelers or Trout fishing its the place for you. We talk about us playing the in the 1st Splashdown at Heber with Steve and Shari Adcock, and the whole Heber Slings Disc Golf Club. Cedar Beach and MossyBluff both looked great and are fair courses for scoring. Got to play with folks we have never played with on courses that were fairly new to us. We talk a little about MVP Open and some national stuff. We also talk about the Arkansas Masters coming up this weekend.
