Her Tummy Tuck Was Easier Than a C-Section: 38-Year-Old Neo-Umbilicus Patient is 1 Year Post-Op

"I was pleasantly surprised, I don't think it was that bad at all." This beautiful patient is a year out from her abdominoplasty and hernia repair. She has three children, two of which were born via c-section, so she was anticipating that level of pain but was pleasantly surprised. The recovery was much easier than she expected, and she was back to coaching her daughter's lacrosse team at 2 weeks post-op! She's a nurse and often cares for patient's with drains, so she was very happy to not have to deal with them herself. When asked about wearing bikinis this summer, she said, "I'm looking forward to getting some new ones this year!" She used to have to wear a brace when working out because her hernia made her uncomfortable, so she is enjoying the freedom she has now to exercise.
