Send us Fan Mail [https://www.buzzsprout.com/2534143/fan_mail/new] In today’s episode, I’m sharing what Easter looks like in our home as a big family 🤍 From Palm Sunday to Easter Monday, I’m walking you through the traditions we’ve built over the years — how they’ve changed as our kids have grown, and how we try to keep the focus on what Easter is really about in the middle of all the fun and chaos. We talk about:  • what Good Friday looked like when our kids were little  • how we created meaningful moments at home  • the shift to attending church together as a family  • our Easter brunch tradition (and all the food 🥐)  • and the simple ways we keep pointing our kids back to Jesus This episode is a mix of real life, family rhythms, and faith — and my prayer is that it encourages you to create meaningful moments in your own home this Easter season. ✝️ Resources Mentioned • The Jesus Storybook Bible [https://amzn.to/4lV4g2i] — a beautiful way to share the story of Jesus with kids • The Action Bible [https://amzn.to/4dhulGI] — a more visual, engaging Bible for older kids • The Miracle Maker  [https://amzn.to/4dLje96]— a kid-friendly movie that tells the story of Jesus 🤍 Final Note More than anything, I hope this week you take time to pause and reflect on what Jesus did for us. You are so deeply loved. If this episode encouraged you, don’t forget to follow the podcast, share it with a friend, and leave a review 🤍

The Summer That Changed My Life | Why I Still Believe in Camp Ministry

Send us Fan Mail [https://www.buzzsprout.com/2534143/fan_mail/new] This week I’m sharing why summer camp has always held such a special place in my heart ❤️ As a little girl, church camp was the highlight of my summer — swimming, crafts, chapel, camp songs, muddy obstacle courses, cabin laughs, and friendships I looked forward to all year long. What I didn’t realize then was that while I was busy having fun seeds of faith were being planted in my heart. Years later, after drifting far from those childhood lessons, God used camp ministry to completely change the direction of my life. And now, getting to come back years later and volunteer at Caton’s Island has felt so full circle for me. In this episode I’m sharing: ✨ why camp mattered so much growing up ✨ how those childhood seeds stayed rooted deep down ✨ the summer that changed my faith forever ✨ why volunteering at camp means so much to me now ✨ and why I still believe camp ministry changes lives You truly never know what seeds are being planted in a child’s life ❤️ If camp ministry has ever touched your life in some way, I would LOVE to hear your story. When Sickness Hits Your House (and Everything Falls Apart)

Send us Fan Mail [https://www.buzzsprout.com/2534143/fan_mail/new] Sickness in a house full of kids is… inevitable 🤍 And if you’re anything like me, it used to bring on so much stress and anxiety — especially when plans had to be cancelled and everything felt out of control. In today’s episode, I’m sharing what happened in our home right before Easter break when the stomach bug made its way through our family one by one… and how differently I handled it this time. We’re talking about:  • how I used to spiral when sickness hit  • what shifted for me this past year  • how we manage sickness in a big family  • practical tips that actually make it easier (buckets, towels, simple meals + more)  • and how to handle the disappointment when plans don’t go as expected This episode is real life, practical encouragement, and a reminder that you’re not doing anything wrong when sickness takes over your home. Sometimes the best thing we can do is slow down and take care of our people.
