Get up, he is calling you! Reflection from the Rev Trevor Bassett at Rowville Uniting Church on 28th October 2018, Pentecost 23 in Year B of the liturgical calendar. Our readings were Mark 10:46-52 and Job 42:1-6,10-17. The other readings in the lectionary were Psalm 34:1-8 and Hebrews 7:23-28.

Reflection from the Rev Trevor Bassett at Rowville Uniting Church on 10th July 2016, Pentecost 8 in Year C of the liturgical calendar. Our readings were Luke 10:25-37, Colossians 1:1-14, Psalm 82, and Amos 7:7-17. Trevor is currently on leave and so this is a reflection we had recorded in our archives, but not posted online.

Reflection from the Rev Trevor Bassett at Rowville Uniting Church on 9th September 2018, Pentecost 16 in Year B of the liturgical calendar. Moving on from the marathon of the 6th chapter of John, our readings were Mark 7:24-37 and James 2:1-10, 14-17. There is an extended introduction to the reflection, including the James reading, with the reflection proper starting 5min 30sec into the recording.

Reflection from the Rev Trevor Bassett at Rowville Uniting Church on 2nd September 2018, Pentecost 15 in Year B of the liturgical calendar. Finishing the marathon of the 6th chapter of John, our readings were John 6:55-69 and Ephesians 6:10-20. Apologies for the sound quality in the first five minutes of the recording, it does improve!
