magic words
took a little break but I am back and ready to share my voice again, todays episode is a poem about words. And what we choose to use them for. Listen carefully. 🌀
episode nine: the bridge between worlds
in this episode I talk a little bit about my road trip from Oregon, through Idaho and Wyoming and back home. Then I read a poem that I wrote on the trip, inspired by a dip in a cold lake.
episode eight: the mystery poet
episode seven: weight of a trapped soul
this episodes poem is a little different than the ones I’ve read in the past in that the beginning of it relays a less hopeful tone, but the overall message of this piece is that when you are not honest with yourself and your emotions, they can often consume you. This poem is meant to be a way to release this pent up expression, as many of my works are.
episode six: love and release
I read two poems today, the first is called “release” and is a celebration of women and nature, the second is called “soul family” and is a cry to the people that will help me bring light and love into the world. It is a cry to anybody listening.
