Sunday Homilies with the Redemptorists
When did we last look at another person and wonder what type of burdens and troubles they going through and what type of compassion we can render? Today’s Gospel is on compassion - Jesus looks at his people, filled with compassion, He shepherds them and ministers to them. We can be compassionate just like Jesus is compassionate. Unfortunately, in this world of advanced technology, we can forget and look past people, but we are not called to be bystanders, but to actively participate in the mission of Jesus. Perhaps, we should pause, reflect for a moment, try to understand the struggles of others and reach out to be shepherds to others. - Sunday Homily by Fr. Eugene Lee, C.Ss.R. (14 June 2026)
