Exercise is often neglected as a form of self care because we are “too tired.” But what we must realize is that exercise & how you exercise can greatly impact your energy, mood & ability to perform as a veterinary care worker. It’s a self care skill we must master to love into our potential.

For me, it is worse in the morning & tends to improve throughout the day. There are some personal habits & tools that can help you cope with anxiety and these are discussed here. By no means is this an all inclusive list and every persons journey will be an individual journey.

As veterinary care workers we have so many decisions to make per day. Coming up with a meal plan let alone opting for healthier foods can be quite challenging. In this episode I introduce the pillars that hold the foundation of healthy eating. The key is to building habits that center around recognizing your body’s signals (biofeedback) as well as to prepare for your cravings and energy dips. True change is to begin to learn the language that your body is communicating.
