On this episode of "The Mark Nichols Podcast" we talk wit world-renowned laser eye surgeon and philanthropist Dr. Ming Wang and his ballroom dance teacher (United States American Smooth Dance Champion) Shalene Archer. Dr. Wang and Shalene share stores of how they started ballroom dancing and how they approach teaching and learning one of the world's favorate dance forms. Also, Dr. Wang shares his journey escaping the Chinese "Cultral Revolution," coming to America, and attending some of it's elite universities. This episode also serves as an introduction to a (date to be annouced) two-part interview with Dr. Wang on China's Cultral Revolution and how it's echoes are impacting America today. We will also talk more about Dr. Wang's book "From Darkness to Sight" which has been made into a movie "Sight," that is scheduled to relased in 2022.

Both women are trail blazers along with their Board of Directors including Vice-President Belinda Romer in public education awareness of sheltering and controling Lawrence County's unwanted pet population.
