he Medicine Spoke is a soul-baring podcast exploring healing at its root—from the womb to the wild unknown. Hosted by a mother of five and nurse turned spiritual seeker, this show dives into the raw, often unspoken layers of trauma, emotional inheritance, psychedelics, and rebirth. Each episode is a blend of storytelling, reflection, and remembrance—sometimes solo, sometimes with guides, therapists, or fellow travelers on the path. From a life-altering Ibogaine journey in Mexico to breathwork, rage release, motherhood, and the echoes of what we felt before we had language—this is a space for the ones who never felt quite at home in the surface world.Whether you’ve sat with plant medicine, cried in a therapist’s office, or screamed into a pillow at 2 a.m., you’ll feel seen here.

Peeling Back the Layers – The Medicine Was Me All Along

This is the Season 1 finale of The Medicine Spoke… and it is a full-circle moment. In this episode, I reflect on the journey that started with recording Episode 1 and re-recording it over and over again because I couldn’t stand the sound of my own voice… to now sitting here with so much more grace for myself and the courage to share my story openly. Season 1 has been about healing out loud. It’s been about the moments that break us open, the lessons that shape us, and the realization that the tools we’re searching for are often already within us. In this episode, I look back on the toolbox we built throughout the season — the lessons on awareness, honesty, self-compassion, forgiveness, intuition, consistency, and faith — and how each one became a part of my own healing journey. I also share why honoring the medicines that changed my life — ibogaine and 5-MeO-DMT — was such an important part of this story, and how what I thought I was doing for someone else ended up transforming me instead. And I share a very real reminder that healing is still happening every day — including a story from an aesthetic conference this past weekend that showed me how far I’ve come… and how much grace we all deserve to give ourselves. If there is one lesson I hope you take from this season, it’s this: It is never too late. It’s never too late to start healing. Never too late to choose yourself. Never too late to follow the thing that keeps calling you forward. This episode is for anyone who has ever felt behind, broken, or alone on their healing journey. You’re not behind. You’re not broken. And nothing meant for you will ever miss you. Season 1 may be coming to a close… but the healing continues. Thank you for being here. 🤍 The medicine you’re looking for… was you all along.

episode Nothing Meant for You Will Ever Miss You artwork

Nothing Meant for You Will Ever Miss You

This episode was not planned — it found me. After a chaotic weekend, an argument with my daughter, and a long drive to a small church I didn’t even want to attend, I walked in dysregulated and overwhelmed. Well into the service, something shifted in my body. My nervous system calmed. My heart opened. And I knew I was exactly where I was supposed to be. In this episode, I share: • The real-life moment that reminded me how intuition feels in the body • My full faith journey — from Apostolic roots to Baptist, Methodist, Catholicism, spirituality, and back to God • The shame, the healing, and the integration of believing in both God and energy • How my father-in-law’s testimony changed the way I see parenting and faith in our home • Why healing isn’t about perfection — it’s about coming back to center • And how divine timing works even when we don’t understand it If you’ve ever felt spiritually in-between… If you’ve ever felt like you didn’t belong in one box… If you’ve ever wondered if you were on the right path… This episode is for you. Nothing meant for you will ever miss you. We peel back layers here on The Medicine Spoke… and the real medicine has always been within you.

episode The Boring Side of Healing artwork

The Boring Side of Healing

We don’t talk enough about what happens after the breakthroughs. After the big realizations. After the emotional releases. After the moments that change everything. Because eventually, healing gets quiet. In this episode, I’m sharing what healing looks like for me right now in real life — not in ceremonies or dramatic shifts, but in the small, consistent choices that regulate my nervous system and create peace in my everyday life. We’re talking about the maintenance phase of healing. The 5:15 AM hot sculpt yoga class I never want to wake up for but always changes my day. Choosing sleep instead of overthinking after conflict. Drinking water, eating cleaner, and sitting with myself even when I don’t feel like it. Learning to care without carrying everyone else’s emotions as a nurse and an empath. Letting peace be routine instead of chasing intensity. If your healing feels “boring” right now — if it looks like repetition, boundaries, rest, and small daily habits — you are not doing it wrong. You are stabilizing. Healing isn’t always loud. It’s not always a breakthrough. Sometimes it’s the quiet, consistent practices that become the medicine within you. Peace is routine. Peace is repetitive. Peace is healing. This episode is for anyone who is in the maintenance phase — building a regulated, grounded life one small choice at a time.

episode How I Stopped Letting Ego Run My Life artwork

How I Stopped Letting Ego Run My Life

For most of my life, I thought ego was confidence. I didn’t realize it was fear quietly running everything. In this episode, I share how my healing journey — especially through ibogaine and DMT — helped me finally see the difference between ego and intuition, and how learning to listen to that quiet inner voice changed the way I live, work, love, and show up for myself. We talk about: • how ego shows up as anxiety, control, validation, people-pleasing, and survival • how intuition feels calm, grounded, and steady — even when it leads you somewhere uncomfortable • walking away from a job that caused constant dread • shifting from defensiveness to boundaries in relationships • letting go of identity, status, and the need to prove • releasing shame around motherhood and learning to give myself grace • how emotions move through the body — and what happens when we don’t let them • everyday intuition — from delays and red lights to losing (and finding) something meaningful • why you don’t need a big ceremony to heal • how intuition and manifesting are deeply connected • and why the real medicine has always been within you This episode is about slowing down, getting quiet, and learning how to tell the difference between fear and truth in your own everyday life. Because intuition is the medicine. And when you learn to listen, everything begins to align. ✨ If this resonates, take a breath, pause, and remember — nothing meant for you will miss you.

episode Forgiveness Starts With You artwork

Forgiveness Starts With You

In this episode of The Medicine Spoke, I talk about why true healing begins with self-forgiveness — and why letting go of the past isn’t possible if we’re still punishing ourselves for who we were. I share parts of my story that I carried shame around for years: becoming a mom at sixteen, divorce, regret, mistakes, and the fear of being alone with myself. I explore how shame keeps the nervous system stuck in survival, how self-judgment can feel like control, and why forgiveness is actually an act of self-love. This episode is also about release and momentum — what I let go of in 2025, what I released during the final full moon of the Year of the Snake, and how I’m stepping forward into a new season without dragging old versions of myself behind me. I share practical ways to begin forgiving yourself, stop taking revenge on yourself, and carry the lesson without carrying the weight. If you’ve ever struggled to love yourself because of your past, this episode is for you.
