The vast majority of friends we have on there are people we thought we knew in real life, as opposed to a platform like Twitter, where you follow people you don’t actually know but are grouped by common interests. Following a person you know in real life isn’t all that bad, right? After all, staying in touch is a good thing, right?! In theory yes, until you get to see all of your “friend’s” emboldened political points of view they’d never utter in your actual company. Bobs and Pineapples – Mister MacNugget 13

Rituals make up a big part of our lives that we often never think of because we’re so busy doing them on auto-pilot.  MacNugget has a couple rituals he’d like to share with you here on this episode of the show. * [https://www.movieguys.org/wp-content/uploads/Kings-Island-Eiffel-Tower.jpg] * [https://www.movieguys.org/wp-content/uploads/Kings-Island-Beast.jpg] The first is his Amusement Parking hat.  Being a gentleman of a certain age, the sun has a way of finding the bald spot on the back of his head, so when he goes to Kings Island, he reaches for his favorite hat.  It’s a Monsters University hat he got on his trip to Walt Disney World.  Interestingly, he is onto his second MU hat due to a run in with the roller coaster Diamondback and the roof of a park eatery called Potato Works. [https://www.movieguys.org/wp-content/uploads/Loofa.jpeg] The second ritual has to do with cleanliness.  Do you use a loofah?  If not, you should.  They’re delightful, like a little cloud of soapy happiness, caressing your parts in the most delicate of ways.  Problem with this ritual is that MacNugget’s family also use their own loofah, causing his to be pushed to the back of the bunch, which causes them all to fall each morning when he showers.  Cause and effect.  The name of the game. [https://www.movieguys.org/wp-content/uploads/Pineapple.jpeg] Twitch is a fun place.  People play games, and you watch.  MacNugget had an interesting encounter with a Twitch streamer who said one thing in her “rules” section, but clearly meant something completely opposite of her rules in practice.  He decided to educate her chat on the proper way to cut a fresh pineapple to great results! Sit back, grab your park hat and loofah.  It’s about to get weird. The Ecto Hunt and Poop Tacos – Mister MacNugget 12

Have you ever given ASMR a try on youtube or via a podcast?  Apparently it’s a whole thing now, attempting to give yourself the “tingles” or capturing the phenomenon of getting goosebumps in a bottle to be able to access when you want.  The acronym stands for Autonomous Sensory Meridian Response.  MacNugget thought it was just some random one-off on the internet, but it turns out there’s a huge community behind it.  Who knew? Heavenly Bean Soup and Discontinued McDonald’s – Mister MacNugget 11

Upon smelling something heinous in the hallways at work, MacNugget was appalled to find out that not only did the ladies down the hall not think the smell was bad, they actually referred to it as “heavenly.”  So heavenly, in fact, that they likened it to their favorite soup, which one typically wouldn’t refer to as smelling heavenly either.  It was a real shock to the ole system in many ways, and using more than one of the senses as well. Red Vines and The Suicidal Pet Fish – Mister MacNugget 10

[https://www.movieguys.org/wp-content/uploads/nicholaschun_candy_staff-1-900x580.jpg] Still utterly flabbergasted at the overwhelming mob of insane people who believe Twizzlers are better than Red Vines (delicious Red Vines), Mister MacNugget [https://www.movieguys.org/get-it-guuuurl-mister-macnugget-14/] searches the web for articles defending the merits of preferring strawberry rubber to soft red licorice.  The one he finds, as you will hear, makes a lacking case in defense of Twizzlers, and in some instances, the writer makes a fool of himself most likely due to the fact that there is no real defense as the superior candy is clear. [https://www.movieguys.org/wp-content/uploads/Red_Vines_1808642975-1024x768.jpg] When starting this show, MacNugget started writing segments to record, but didn’t get to them last summer when originally penned.  Today he shares one of his written pieces with you.  This one covers a fiasco pertaining to when he brought three neon tetra pet fish home for his kids.  Apparently, two of the three were not fans of their new abode and protested their move in date to their own detriment.
