After 8 years of writing, saving up for studio time, recording and struggling to get his music over the line. Somewhere along the way he realized he would have to solve the key process of ‘mixing’ if he wanted to achieve his goal of sonically standing up next to his favourite artists. He finally released his debut single ‘White Wine [https://open.spotify.com/track/3VActO1Apg92y1xcl4Eq9G?si=a2789e78c6d5463f]’ in March 2021 and quickly followed that up with the EP Consolations [https://open.spotify.com/album/3fGMd8KOQBXghW7v3liPX6?si=ZplKDjCvSFCeKUhHka4XAw] and topped the Hype Machine charts on three occasions, alongside airplay on BBC introducing and Amazing Radio. In this chat he walks us through his story from teenage ambition to nativity and how he overcame some obstacles along the way to finally have what he calls his ‘Free Solo’ moment.
