Tony is Professor of HRM and Employment Relations in the Kemmy Business School. He is a Fellow of the Academy of Social Sciences (FAcSS); Chartered Institute of Personnel and Development (FCIPD); former Chief Examiner for the CIPD; and was until recently Editor-in-Chief of the Human Resource Management Journal (HRMJ). He teaches, researches and writes on the subjects of trade unionism, working conditions and employment policy across Europe, and has also published extensively on the topic of working life in live music.
