Rhiannon Williams headed to one of those protests on Barry Island. 🎸 With a growth in people making music locally, Beacons Cymru has launched an opportunity for local people to perform at the Belle Vue Music event in Penarth in July. Oliver Perry will chat to the organisers before 8pm. 🚜 The Vale Food Trail returns later this week, kicking off with the Cowbridge Food and Drink Festival - I’ll chat with organiser Louise Denham from Food Vale and Nia Mon, from Dirwest, one of the local businesses taking part, in an expanded two-week trail for 2026. 🎭 If you fancy a sprinkling of musicals, both new and old, CAOS is bringing its musicals and more events to St Athan, Cowbridge and Llantwit Major this weekend.
