Descripción

After a couple weeks away, I’m back, and honestly, my heart needed it more than I realized. In this episode, I’m sharing a very real and vulnerable look at what it felt like to be spiritually drained, running on empty, and quietly stuck in a place I didn’t want to admit I was in. But on a simple plane ride home, I witnessed a conversation between two strangers that completely shifted my perspective and reminded me of the beauty, simplicity, and power of the gospel. This isn’t a polished message or a perfectly structured episode, it’s just a real, heart to heart conversation. We’re talking about how to give God glory in the midst of burnout, making time for Jesus, choosing peace over the pity party, and what it truly means to share the gospel, one person at a time. I pray this episode meets you right where you are.  Send me a text [https://www.buzzsprout.com/2404524/fan_mail/new]

Dear Counselor Friend: You're More Than What You Give

On this final week of this unplanned pause on new episodes, I prayerfully considered which episode to rerelease this week. I truly pray that it is encouraging to both your heart and your soul. I will be back again with a new episode next Monday. However this week, allow me to reintroduce you to Season 1, Episode 46, named "Dear Counselor Friend: You're More Than What You Give". Are you the friend everyone turns to for advice, support, and prayer, but secretly you feel worn out, lonely, or unseen? In this heartfelt follow up to last week’s episode on Godly friendships, we dive deeper into the struggles of being the “counselor friend,” navigating seasons of loneliness, and how to give God glory, as we learn how to let go and trust God with the people we love. This episode is an honest conversation about spiritual burnout, carrying emotional burdens that were never meant to be yours, and remembering where your true worth comes from, not in what you do, but in who you are in Christ. Whether you're walking through a season of isolation or wrestling with unmet friendship expectations, you’ll be reminded that Jesus is your closest friend, and He offers you rest, purpose, and joy that no one else can. Real Love in a Confused World

As I mentioned at the end of the previous episode, I have to take an unplanned break from new episodes, for the next 2 weeks. I will however be back on June 1st for another new episode. However I very prayerfully considered which episodes I should rerelease for these 2 Mondays. I pray that they are just as encouraging as they were the first time they were released. So may I reintroduce season 1, Episode 44, Real Love in a Confused World. So many of us are chasing real love, but we may not even realize how our view of it has been shaped more by entertainment and social media than by God’s Word. In this heartfelt episode, we take a look at the difference between what the world teaches about love and what God actually says love should look like. From the confusion that culture creates to the clarity that Christ provides, we talk through how to recognize the traits of Godly relationships, how to avoid counterfeit love, and how to untangle the lies we’ve unknowingly absorbed. I’ll share some personal stories, encouragement, and practical ways to grow in love, romantically, spiritually, mentally and emotionally. Whether you’re single, dating, engaged or married, this episode will remind you of what matters most: pursuing a love that gives God glory, a love that reflects God’s heart, not the world’s idea of a highlight reel.  Send me a text [https://www.buzzsprout.com/2404524/fan_mail/new]

Faith on Low Battery: Trusting God When Hope Hurts

In today’s episode, we’re having a real and vulnerable conversation about faith. Faith that feels like it’s running on low. What do you do when you know God is good, but your hope feels dim? When you’ve been believing for a miracle, but the waiting feels heavy and long? I’m opening up about my own journey of struggling to hold onto faith in the middle of unanswered prayers, and learning how to trust God even when I don’t see the outcome yet. If you’ve ever felt weary, discouraged, or like your faith just doesn’t feel as strong as it used to, this episode is for you. You’re not alone in the waiting. And your faith, even now, still matters.  Send me a text [https://www.buzzsprout.com/2404524/fan_mail/new]

More Than a Book: Why We Need the Word of God

What if the Bible isn’t just something we read, but a place where we meet God? In this episode, we talk about why Scripture is so important, why it’s vital that we know it for ourselves, and how we can begin reading it in a way that feels simple and life giving rather than overwhelming. This conversation is an invitation to give God glory by truly knowing God through His Word. We’ll also explore simple, practical ways to read the Bible without feeling overwhelmed. If you’ve ever struggled to stay consistent in the Word, felt intimidated by where to start, or found yourself relying on secondhand faith, this conversation is for you. This is your reminder that His Word is alive, it speaks, and it’s waiting for you. God’s Word is for you, and it never runs dry. Send me a text [https://www.buzzsprout.com/2404524/fan_mail/new]
