According to the Pew Research Center, In 1950 the median age of first time marriages was 22.8 for men and 20.3 for women. In 1975 the age elevated 23.5 for men and 21.1 for women. In 2025, those numbers are 30.2 for men and 28.6 for women. Americans on average say the best age to get married is 26.5. Young people cited financial/economic factors, rising alternative lifestyles, shifting norms & priorities, a reduction in in-person interactions and fear of divorce as leading causes of a de-emphasis of marriage. In Genesis 2:18, the Lord God said, “It is not good that man should be alone; I will make him a helper fit for him.” How are young men supposed to find a partner in today’s culture? What does the Bible say about evangelism and discipleship. We are called to the “Great Commission”…to share the good news with Jews and Gentiles and to be an ambassador for Christ. Seems like a job for the seasoned and professional Christian. There is a world view that says that children are to be seen and not heard and they are in training until they develop the skills needed to do hard things. In 1 Timothy 4:12, the Bible says, “Don’t let anyone look down on you because you are young, but set an example for the believers in speech, in conduct, in love, in faith and in purity.  Here at Junto Tribe ministries we believe the youth of this great country are not only supposed to play an active role in discipleship, but in many environments should lead. Join Mike and Jim as they discuss what discipleship looks like from a teenage perspective with Lila Marion, a 16 year old finding her way as a disciple.
