Erin Lee is a Jacksonville, Florida native. She graduated in 2004 from Clay High School and went on to get her Bachelors in Business Administration with a focus on International Business, in 2009. At 19, she began her professional life at Starbucks to pay for a semester abroad that she spent in France. Erin then went from Starbucks to the deli at Native Sun. While working at the deli, she began her internship with a local construction materials supplier where she eventually got hired on, full-time. The office life was fun and novel at first but inevitably, was not where Erin wanted to be.
In a twist of fate, Erin was laid off in the Spring of 2011 and could not have been more excited, (or more scared) with where life might take her. After a few months of soul searching and penny pinching, Erin drove by a vacant storefront that had a sign in the window that said “Bold Bean Coffee Roasters coming soon!” and felt an immediate spark. Once she interviewed and met the people leading this endeavor, she knew it was just what she was looking for.
When the opportunity to pursue the Wholesale side of Bold Bean came about in 2018, Erin had never previously seen herself as a salesperson. Luckily, after some much needed reflection, she realized this new path was made just for her.
It is for this company alone that Erin was and is best suited for the role. For her, this is about being in the position to take care - both in regard to her team and our wholesale partners. Her career has been a natural progression that has allowed her to live her personal values with the world and represent Bold Bean with these values, as well.
In her spare time, Erin loves to bike the Baldwin Trail, walk and run in her beloved neighborhood of Riverside, and spend as much time as possible with her family and friends. She and her partner, Mary Graham, love traveling, dining out, discovering great wines and new places to hike as often as their finances and work schedules will allow.
