Presenter Matt Edmondson and author & comedian Adam Kay join forces to host new podcast "The List of Absolutely Everything That Might Kill You" Launching 4 April 2023

A comedic compilation of the seemingly innocuous everyday items that are secretly plotting our downfall: A Podimo and What's The Story Sounds production

On 4th April 2023, Podimo and What's The Story Sounds will launch The List of Absolutely Everything That Might Kill You, hosted by Radio 1 DJ Matt Edmondson, and Adam Kay, author of the bestselling memoir This is Going to Hurt

In the podcast, Matt and Adam have teamed up to explore the surprisingly morbid histories of everything from deadly doorbells and lawnmowers, to fatal feather boas and pufferfish. They provide listeners with the tools they need to survive the unexpected dangers lying in wait at work, during the commute, and even in the comfort of our own homes.

In every episode, they'll each make the case for an object's inclusion on the lethal league table. Then, using a combination of colourful anecdotal evidence and cutting-edge scientific analysis, they will determine the definitive ranking of absolutely everything that might kill you.

Matt and Adam are friends who have very different outlooks on life. While Adam has been exposed to death and danger in his former life as a doctor, Matt is fearful of pretty much everything, and would rather stay at home than risk the dangers that lurk in the outside world.

Professor Jennifer Visser-Rogers is the podcast's resident statistician. She specialises in applying statistics to the health industry and real world problems. Her role is essential in ensuring the podcast stays on track, putting numbers to some of Matt and Adam's sweeping statements.

This isn't just a lethal listicle; Matt, Adam and Jennifer are here to prepare us for a world dead set on ending our existence at any given moment. Episodes dropping weekly from 4th April, wherever you get your podcasts.
