Why should I bother?
In Acts 9:32-43, the Apostle Peter performs two powerful miracles that expand the early church's reach. He heals Aeneas, a paralyzed man in Lydda, and raises a devoted disciple named Tabitha (Dorcas) from the dead in Joppa. Both miraculous acts bring glory to Jesus, leading many in the region to convert to Christianity
Saul’s Conversion
Acts 9:1-31 details the miraculous conversion of Saul, the church's fiercest persecutor. Struck blind by the risen Jesus on the road to Damascus, he is healed by Ananias, baptized, and immediately begins preaching that Jesus is the Son of God, shifting from persecutor to the Apostle to the Gentiles
Saul persecutes the church
Acts 8 describes the early Christian church's expansion beyond Jerusalem, triggered by intense persecution. Driven by Saul, believers fled to Judea and Samaria, where the evangelist Philip successfully preached the gospel, healed the sick, and baptized new converts.
Apostolic Church Full of The Holy Spirit
The dramatic rise, martyrdom, and legacy of Stephen, the first Christian martyr, and the resulting persecution that scattered the early church.
A Lukian Sandwich
Acts 6:1-7 details the early church’s response to its first major internal crisis. The growing community faced ethnic tension between Hebrew and Greek-speaking Jewish believers because widows were neglected in daily food distributions. To resolve this, the apostles delegated practical care to seven chosen, Spirit-filled leaders, allowing leaders to focus on spiritual priorities
