Check in with me! How are you doing? Share one success you had today!!💫 In today’s Check-In with Gwen, I dive into the concept of learned helplessness. It’s that feeling when you give up because life just keeps throwing curveballs your way. But here’s the truth: it’s not inevitable. Some people keep pushing through, even when faced with relentless challenges. So, how do we combat this? It starts with understanding that you have the power to change your circumstances. ✨ Start by recognizing your intrinsic motivation. What drives you? Tap into that energy and push back against the weight of adversity. The journey isn’t easy, but every step counts. Let’s support each other as we navigate these waters together. Still figuring this out myself, but I’m here for you. Episode Revenge is OFF the Menu. Cover

Revenge is OFF the Menu.

Revenge is an emotion that blinds us—literally. It's a failure of multiple parts of your brain, and honestly, it’s just not worth the energy. Drop a 🔥 if you’ve ever been tempted to “get even” but knew it wasn’t the right move. Here’s the truth: revenge hijacks your prefrontal cortex, the part of your brain for reasoning making it impossible to think clearly or control impulses. When driven by revenge, your inhibition, emotional regulation, and flexibility all go out the window and for what? A moment of “justice” that only costs you your peace. Instead of spending your life force on past wrongs, redirect that energy toward gratitude and self-improvement. Recognize that whatever was meant to break you failed—so stay blessed and keep moving forward. Revenge belongs to the past; your future is too valuable for that. Worth thinking about.
