Golden State's Al Horford is declining his player option and intends to sign a new two-year, $14 million deal to stay with the Warriors. The Charlotte Hornets are trading star guard LaMelo Ball and Josh Green to the Minnesota Timberwolves for Naz Reid, a 2033 unprotected first-round pick, three first-round pick swaps (2028, 2029,2030), and three second-round picks (2029, 2032,2033). Free agent guard Coby White intends to sign a three-year, $74 million deal to return to the Charlotte Hornets. Restricted free agent Mark Williams intends to sign a three-year, $38 million contract to return to the Phoenix Suns. The Oklahoma City Thunder are trading sharpshooter Isaiah Joe to the Detroit Pistons for two future second-round picks. Arnold turned himself in and was taken into custody at Orient Road Jail in Hillsborough County on Wednesday night. He faces four counts of kidnapping and four counts of armed robbery, which carry a potential sentence of up to life in prison. Jets QB Geno Smith is being investigated for an incident in which a woman accused him of battery, police in Davie, Florida, said Tuesday morning. The NBA Draft and NBA Offseason, and NFL players are getting traded. The Timberwolves will acquire Brooklyn's No. 33 pick for Julius Randle and No. 28. The Timberwolves free up significant salary with the remaining two years of Randle's deal, giving them more flexibility to retain Ayo Dosunmu and use exceptions. The Nets acquire a three-time All-Star and two-time All-NBA forward in Randle into their cap space -- plus a first-rounder.
