Then, The Adventures of Frank Merriwell starring Lawson Zerbe, originally broadcast May 28, 1949, 77 years ago, Frank Merriwell’s Promise.  In order to protect the reputation of one of Boston's newspapers, Frank pitches a no-hit baseball game.  Followed by Did Justice Triumph, originally broadcast  May 28, 1947, 79 years ago, Killer Ties a Knot.   A sweet little old lady is killed by two of her roomers.
