Episode 240. Divine Omnipotence - Divine Intimacy Meditations Cover

240. Divine Omnipotence - Divine Intimacy Meditations

In Meditation 240, “Divine Omnipotence,” we contemplate God’s absolute sovereignty and His creative fiat. Unlike empty human speech, the divine word is infallibly effective, drawing good even from evil. This infinite power, always at the service of His goodness, establishes the foundation for the interior life, inviting the receptive heart to rest in His constant action. Our radical impotence requires divine concurrence in every act; as John, Chapter Fifteen, Verse Five reminds us, apart from God, we can do nothing. Yet this poverty is our strength. Following Saint Teresa of Jesus, who knew that alone she could do nothing but with Jesus she could do all things, we find that humility unlocks omnipotence. Today, briefly pause during a routine duty to consciously lean on His help. Episode 239. Divine Providence - Divine Intimacy Meditations Cover

239. Divine Providence - Divine Intimacy Meditations

In this episode, we reflect on Meditation 239, “Divine Providence,” from Divine Intimacy. The hosts consider how Christian confidence rests in God's wise and personal care, even when the purpose of a difficult circumstance remains hidden. Their discussion connects Providence with faith, patience, and the freedom to meet ordinary responsibilities without surrendering to anxiety. This reflection invites us to place one present uncertainty before God and renew a deliberate act of trust. It does not promise an outcome or speak beyond the selected sources.
