When Life Throws you CurveBalls!
When Life Throws You Curveballs
Most Black women carry burdens silently until the weight of grief, PTSD, and unprocessed pain begins to shake their sense of self. In this vulnerable and heartfelt episode, Lady CoCo opens up about her healing journey and the reality of navigating trauma while still trying to show up for life, family, faith, and purpose.
From childhood wounds and grief to emotional burnout, self-sabotage, and crying in the car, Lady CoCo shares what healing has truly looked like behind the scenes. She reminds listeners that healing is not linear, and sometimes the greatest breakthroughs happen right in the middle of the mess.
Drawing from John 5:1–11, the story of the paralyzed man at the pool of Bethesda, this episode explores how God meets us exactly where we are, especially in our lowest moments. Lady CoCo speaks honestly about surrender, spiritual healing, isolation.
This episode is for anyone who has ever felt overwhelmed, emotionally exhausted, stuck, unseen, or pressured to keep going while silently falling apart inside. Especially for Black women who are often taught to suppress emotions and carry everything alone, this conversation is a reminder that your healing matters too.
In this episode, you’ll discover:
• How unprocessed pain can quietly affect your life
• Why healing often feels messy and uncomfortable
• The importance of community, vulnerability, and spiritual connection
• How God works in the middle of brokenness
• Why you do not have to be perfect to begin healing
Lady CoCo reminds us that healing is an ongoing journey, not a final destination. You are not too broken, too late, or too damaged for God to restore.
If you are grieving, healing, rebuilding, or simply trying to find yourself again after life has hit hard, this episode will encourage you to keep showing up anyway.
Healing is messy. Healing is necessary. Healing is possible.
Tune in and be reminded that you are more than your trauma. You are becoming renewed, restored, and deeply loved by God.
