The FDA classifies this ingredient as GRAS, which means “generally recognized as safe.” Monosodium glutamate, also known as MSG, is a flavor enhancer. Studies have shown that it causes obesity, diabetes, metabolic problems, and a fatty liver in mice, so how can it be safe for humans? Monosodium glutamate overstimulates a part of the hypothalamus that regulates the balance of hunger and satiation. It prevents the utilization of energy and also affects fertility. The average daily consumption of MSG is 590 mg to 2330 mg. Some people consume up to 5000 mg in one day! Consuming carbs and MSG together accentuates its effects. Not only does MSG contribute to obesity, but it may also cause headaches, allergy symptoms, irritability, sleeping problems, and dizziness. Many people consume hidden MSG unknowingly. If there’s less than half a gram of MSG in a product, it’s not required to be listed as an ingredient! Foods high in monosodium glutamate include the following: •Instant noodles •Chips •Flavored popcorn •Canned soups •Bouillon cubes •Processed meat •Fast food •Seasonings •Salad dressings •Frozen dinners •Gravy •Appetizers •Flavored crackers •Canned vegetables Dr. Eric Berg DC Bio: Dr. Berg, age 59, is a chiropractor who specializes in Healthy Ketosis & Intermittent Fasting. Let’s talk about tooth decay and how to prevent cavities naturally. Sugary food left on your teeth is food for bacteria that thrive on the sugar and make acids, leading to tooth decay. According to the American Dental Association, to prevent tooth decay in children and adults, you need to: • Brush twice a day • Floss your teeth once a day • See the dentist on a regular basis • Limit snacking • Consume a well-balanced diet • Use fluoride and dental sealants (plastic coating) • Keep added sugar to a minimum What is a “balanced diet?” In many cases, this means including grains or starches in your diet. Diets that include sugar, grains, and starch can lead to cavities. There is an enzyme in your mouth that helps break down starch and inhibits damaging acids from being produced. This enzyme is dependent on B vitamins, especially B1. Sugar, carbs, and starches deplete vitamin B1. The more deficient you are in B1, the more you’re going to deplete the important enzyme that protects your teeth. Other things, like bicarbonates, also help neutralize harmful acids in your mouth naturally. In my opinion, to get rid of cavities, you need to address the underlying cause. You have to stop consuming sugar and starches. The ketogenic diet has many benefits beyond weight loss, including promoting good oral health—and it’s great for adults and children! Episode Teeth Whitening at Home Cover

Teeth Whitening at Home

For around $3.00, you can have white teeth naturally with this teeth whitening DIY recipe. In this video, I’ll show you how to whiten teeth at home using 2 ingredients. There is a safe and effective way to get white teeth at home! Watch this episode next: Reset Your Body in 5 Days (With Zero Food) [https://open.spotify.com/episode/4oKZ046rIAE3zwxDb06ZaO] Just so you know, my full line of high-quality supplements is available on Amazon — search Dr. Berg Supplements. 0:00 Introduction: How to whiten teeth naturally 0:36 2 ingredients for teeth whitening at home 2:02 How to whiten your teeth at home 3:21 Oil pulling for white teeth 4:20 Sugar and vitamin C Could Heart Dysfunction Come from an Infected Tooth: ▶️ https://youtu.be/JuxB81huzt0 DATA: https://pmc.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/articles/PMC6175967/ You don’t need to go to the dentist or purchase whitening strips for white teeth. Baking soda is nonabrasive and can be used to gently scrub your teeth to remove stains and plaque. You can combine baking soda with 3% hydrogen peroxide to whiten teeth at home. Combine 1 teaspoon of baking soda with 3 drops of 3% hydrogen peroxide and 8 drops of water. This mixture breaks the bonds of tooth stains, leaving you with whiter teeth. It’s also beneficial for eliminating bacteria and reducing plaque formation. Use a toothbrush to gently polish your teeth with this paste for 1 to 2 minutes. Rinse your mouth thoroughly when you’re finished. Do this 2 to 3 times per week for a few weeks for whiter teeth. Teeth whitening should be done gradually to avoid damaging the gums and tooth enamel. Oil pulling is an ancient practice that involves swishing oil in the mouth for 10 to 20 minutes. Coconut oil is great for oil pulling. It’s high in lauric acid, a potent anti-microbial that is effective against bacteria, fungus, and candida. It also helps with bad breath. Research has found oil pulling to be as effective as prescription mouthwash against gingivitis. Vitamin C and glucose compete in the body. Bleeding gums are often caused by low vitamin C. If you consume a lot of sugar, glucose will block your vitamin C, which will show up in your gums.
