We’ve been talking all week about being near. Close to truth.Close to the Kingdom.Close to Jesus. But there’s a line we don’t talk about enough. The one between: * Agreement and surrender * Understanding and obedience * Near… and in This song is about that line. Because “not far” sounds encouraging… until you realize it still leaves you outside. Lyrics Not Far [Verse 1]I been close, yeah I know the linesQuote it clean, got the right repliesHead full, got the facts on lockHeart still saying, “yeah… maybe not” Talk faith like I live it outSay “Lord” but I rerouteNever left, never ran awayJust conveniently stayed halfway Sit in church, nod real deepHighlight verses I don’t keepGot the look, got the vibe just rightBut I ghost Him Monday night [Pre-Chorus]I ain’t far, I can see the doorFeel the pull but I want controlStanding here like I’m doing fineBut I know I’m stalling at the line [Chorus]Not far… but I’m not inRight there… playing edge againClose enough just to feel okayBut still one step away Not far… hear You calling meTruth cuts through what I wanna beI can’t stay where I’ve always beenNot far… I’m stepping in [Verse 2]Say I’m good, I’m a decent guyDidn’t steal, didn’t cheat, didn’t lieGrade myself on a sliding scaleLike “pretty good” is gonna prevail “I believe”—yeah, I say that quickTill belief means I gotta submitGot opinions I won’t releaseCall it “growth” when I keep the leash Half in, half out, nice and neatGot one foot in eternityOther foot where I want controlTrying to crown my own soul Funny how I call it faith—but it’s my plan [Pre-Chorus]I ain’t lost, but I ain’t foundStill guarding what I won’t lay downStanding close don’t make it mineIf I never cross that line [Chorus]Not far… but I’m not inRight there… playing edge againClose enough just to feel okayBut still one step away Not far… hear You calling meTruth cuts through what I wanna beI can’t stay where I’ve always beenNot far… I’m stepping in [Verse 3]What’s it worth if I stay right here?Safe, controlled, and insincereCall it faith but it’s dressed-up fearTruth is knocking—I just don’t hear Keep saying “soon” like I own timeLike tomorrow’s guaranteed to be mineStanding still but I call it wiseMan, I’m really good at spiritual lies No more spin, no more pretendNo more “close enough” againIf You’re Lord, then it’s all the wayNot my terms, not another day [Bridge – Spoken]You can know every verseDrop every referenceWin every argument …and still not follow Him That’s not depthThat’s trivia with a halo [Verse 4]Gave it up, yeah I crossed that lineNo more “mine,” now it’s all Yours, GodHands open, what I used to gripFell apart when I loosened it Didn’t lose—man, I finally sawWhat I called life was a shallow drawNow I walk what I used to quoteTruth ain’t theory—it’s what I wrote Peace hit different when You’re in controlNo more split, now a single goalWhat I feared was the cost to payWas the very thing that cleared the way All in—not halfway anymoreNot just standing at the doorWhat I thought I had to defendI surrendered… and that’s where life began [Final Chorus]Not far… no more delayI won’t stand here another dayAll I held, I’m letting goYou said come—so here I go Not far… now I’m stepping throughNot my will—I’m choosing YouNo more edge, no in-betweenI was close… now I’m in This is a public episode. Episode Faith Audio Arsenal | Thus Far Cover

Faith Audio Arsenal | Thus Far

This week’s song was born from a simple realization: Sometimes you don’t fully understand what God has done until you stop long enough to look behind you. Over the last year and a half, I’ve walked through grief, uncertainty, loss, major life changes, a cross-country move, and more than a few moments where I had no idea how things were going to work out. Yet somehow, one step at a time, God kept making a way. Not always the way I expected. Not always on my timeline. But faithfully. This week’s theme has been After the Storm: Building an Ebenezer, inspired by Samuel’s declaration in 1 Samuel 7:12: “Thus far the LORD has helped us.” That’s exactly what this song is about. Not perfect circumstances. Not easy victories. Not having all the answers. Just the quiet confidence that comes from looking back and realizing God has been present through every mile, every loss, every blessing, and every unexpected provision. If you’re in a season of recovery, reflection, or simply trying to catch your breath after a difficult chapter, I hope this song reminds you of an important truth: You’re not standing here because you’ve never struggled. You’re standing here because God has been faithful. Thus far. The Lord has helped us. Because sometimes the strongest testimony isn’t found in what you’re facing today. It’s found in remembering Who carried you through yesterday. Faith Audio ArsenalLyrical ammo for the faithfully armored. THUS FAR Verse 1 I remember the nights when the answers were goneThe road felt endless, but I kept moving onBoxes and burdens stacked high to the skyPraying through tears, asking God why Some days were faith and some days were gritSome days I stumbled, but I wouldn’t quitDidn’t see the ending, couldn’t see how farBut You were still guiding by every scar Pre-Chorus When I look behind me nowI can finally see Chorus Thus far the Lord has helped meThrough every valley and every seaWhen I had nothing left to giveYour mercy taught my heart to live Stone by stone, grace by graceYou carried me through every placeThe storm may pass, but the truth stands tallThus far, Lord, You’ve done it all Verse 2 There were goodbyes I never wanted to sayPeople and places I had to walk away from somedayDreams packed carefully into a PODTrusting somehow You were leading me Then came the road and the miles rolled byMountains and sunsets beneath Your skyEvery turn whispered what I’d always knownI was never traveling alone Pre-Chorus Now the evidence remainsWritten everywhere I see Chorus Thus far the Lord has helped meThrough every valley and every seaWhen I had nothing left to giveYour mercy taught my heart to live Stone by stone, grace by graceYou carried me through every placeThe storm may pass, but the truth stands tallThus far, Lord, You’ve done it all Verse 3 You sent the hands before I knew the needFriends who showed up and helped me believeWhat looked impossible started falling in lineProof that Your timing is better than mine A cross in the clouds for a moment aboveA quiet reminder wrapped in Your loveLooking back now, it’s easy to seeYou were already there waiting for me Bridge I built my plans on shifting sandYou held me in Your stronger handWhen fear said stop and hope grew dimYou wrote a story deeper than The lossesThe questionsThe chapters I couldn’t understand Now I stand beside my EbenezerLooking at the places where You’ve been Chorus Thus far the Lord has helped meThrough every valley and every seaWhen I had nothing left to giveYour mercy taught my heart to live Stone by stone, grace by graceYou carried me through every placeThe storm may pass, but the truth stands tallThus far, Lord, You’ve done it all Outro Not because the road was easyNot because I knew the wayNot because I never stumbled But because You never changed Thus far... Faith Audio Arsenal | Traveling Mercies

Faith Audio Arsenal Traveling Mercies This week’s song is for anyone standing between what was and what comes next. The Christian life is full of journeys. Some take us across the country. Others take us through grief, uncertainty, new beginnings, and seasons we never expected to walk. We often wish God would hand us a detailed map. Instead, He usually gives us something better: His presence. “Traveling Mercies” is a reminder that faith isn’t about knowing every turn in the road. It’s about trusting the One who already knows where the road leads. So whether you’re facing a major transition or simply trying to take the next faithful step, I hope this song reminds you of a simple truth: You don’t have to know the whole road. Just the One who walks every mile with you. Armor up, buttercup. Press play. Lyrics: Title: Traveling Mercies [Verse 1] I can see the miles behind meDust and tears along the wayRoads I never would have chosenNights I thought I’d lose my faith There were valleys I walked through, tremblingQuestions hanging in the airBut every time I thought I’d fall apartI found You waiting there [Pre-Chorus] Looking back, I see Your fingerprintsOn every winding road [Chorus] Traveling merciesThat’s what You’ve given meNot a map of every mountainJust Your promise faithfully When I couldn’t see tomorrowWhen I only had todayYou were lighting up the next stepShowing me the way Traveling merciesThrough every joy and trialI don’t have to know the whole roadJust the One who’s walking every mile [Verse 2] There were prayers that seemed unansweredDoors that stayed completely closedThen suddenly, Your timing openedPaths I never would have known You’ve provided daily breadIn ways I didn’t understandAnd every chapter tells the storyOf Your faithful hand [Pre-Chorus] Looking back, I see Your fingerprintsOn every winding road [Chorus] Traveling merciesThat’s what You’ve given meNot a map of every mountainJust Your promise faithfully When I couldn’t see tomorrowWhen I only had todayYou were lighting up the next stepShowing me the way Traveling merciesThrough every joy and trialI don’t have to know the whole roadJust the One who’s walking every mile [Bridge] You were there in every goodbyeYou were there in every tearYou were there in every questionEven when the answers disappeared You were there when hope felt distantYou were there when strength was smallAnd now I stand because You’ve carried meThrough every rise and fall [Chorus] Traveling merciesThat’s what You’ve given meNot a map of every mountainJust Your promise faithfully When I couldn’t see tomorrowWhen I only had todayYou were lighting up the next stepShowing me the way Traveling merciesThrough every joy and trialI don’t have to know the whole roadJust the One who’s walking every mile [Outro] The road keeps turningThe journey’s not completeBut the God who brought me this farWill guide my wandering feet Traveling merciesThat’s enough for meBecause the One who holds tomorrowIs already walking there with me This is a public episode. Episode Faith Audio Arsenal | Faith That Moves Cover

Faith Audio Arsenal | Faith That Moves

This week’s Faith Audio Arsenal release is a little different. As this song goes live, there’s a good chance my friend Sue and I are somewhere on the long road between New York and Washington State, heading toward a new chapter neither of us can fully see yet. That feels fitting. Because this week’s song is about faith. Not the kind that lives comfortably inside a statement of belief. The kind that packs boxes. Says difficult goodbyes. Takes the next step when the entire map isn’t visible. Throughout this week’s posts, we explored the biblical meaning of faith, the Greek word pistis, and the difference between merely believing and truly trusting. “Faith That Moves” is the musical version of that conversation. A reminder that faith isn’t knowing every turn in the road. Faith is trusting the One who does. Turn it up, sing along, and keep moving forward. Lyrics:Title: Faith That Moves Verse 1 I used to think that faith was knowingEvery answer, every planA neat little box full of certaintyHeld safely in my hands But then the road kept turningAnd the signs were hard to readI found out trust is differentThan believing what I see Pre-Chorus You never promised me the whole mapYou never showed me every mileYou only asked for my next yesAnd walked with me the whole while Chorus Faith that movesFaith that followsFaith that walks when the path is narrow Faith that trustsWhen I can’t see throughThe valley, the storm, or what’s coming into view Not because I know the wayNot because I’ve got the proof I keep moving forwardBecause I trust You Verse 2 Noah built when skies were clearAbraham left home behindPeter stepped out on the waterOne trembling step at a time The saints before us kept on walkingWithout seeing every turnThey placed their hope in Someone faithfulAnd watched His promises return Pre-Chorus You never promised me the whole mapYou never showed me every mileYou only asked for my next yesAnd walked with me the whole while Chorus Faith that movesFaith that followsFaith that walks when the path is narrow Faith that trustsWhen I can’t see throughThe valley, the storm, or what’s coming into view Not because I know the wayNot because I’ve got the proof I keep moving forwardBecause I trust You Verse 3 Boxes filled with yesterdayMiles waiting up aheadSomewhere between the old lifeAnd the unknown road instead But You’ve been there in every seasonThrough each loss and breakthrough tooSo I’ll keep taking one more stepAnd keep my eyes on You Pre-Chorus You never promised me the whole mapYou never showed me every mileYou only asked for my next yesAnd walked with me the whole while Chorus Faith that movesFaith that followsFaith that walks when the path is narrow Faith that trustsWhen I can’t see throughThe valley, the storm, or what’s coming into view Not because I know the wayNot because I’ve got the proof I keep moving forwardBecause I trust You Bridge When the future feels uncertainWhen goodbye is hard to bear When the road stretches before meAnd I wonder what is there You are still the God who leads meYou are still the God who’s true I don’t need to know tomorrowI just need to follow You Final Chorus Faith that movesFaith that followsFaith that walks when the path is narrow Faith that trustsWhen I can’t see throughThe valley, the storm, or what’s coming into view Not because I know the wayNot because I’ve got the proof I keep moving forward Step by step Day by day I keep moving forward Because I trust You Outro Not merely believe Trust Not merely agree Follow Not merely acknowledge Walk Faith that moves This is a public episode. Faith Audio Arsenal | Check The Reciepts

Not every voice speaks truth. Not every confident claim deserves agreement. Not every road marked “Christian” leads where it says it does. God never told us to believe everything. He told us to test it. Lyrics: “Check the Receipts” [Verse 1] Everybody’s got a platformEverybody’s got a takeEverybody’s got a headlineTellin’ me what I should believe today Some sound wiseSome sound strongSome wrap opinions in a Bible verse and move along But I’ve learnedTo slow it downBefore I build my life on every trending sound [Pre-Chorus] ‘Cause truth don’t mind a closer lookAnd light don’t fear the day [Chorus] So I’ll check the receiptsOpen up the WordTest what I’m hearingAgainst what I’ve heard Not every voiceGets authorityI’m standing on ScriptureNot popularity I’ll check the receiptsBefore I believeHolding fast to what’s trueAnd letting go of what deceives [Verse 2] Paul stood preaching in BereaAnd they listened with respectBut they opened up the ScripturesJust to make sure every word checked They weren’t cynicalThey weren’t proudThey just cared enough for truth to search it out And if they checked an apostleThen I think it’s safe to sayA little verification still goes a long way [Pre-Chorus] ‘Cause truth don’t mind a closer lookAnd light don’t fear the day [Chorus] So I’ll check the receiptsOpen up the WordTest what I’m hearingAgainst what I’ve heard Not every voiceGets authorityI’m standing on ScriptureNot popularity I’ll check the receiptsBefore I believeHolding fast to what’s trueAnd letting go of what deceives [Bridge] Raise an eyebrowAsk another questionSearch the contextSeek direction Truth survivesInvestigationGod’s Word standsThrough every generation Raise an eyebrowTake a closer lookDon’t just trust the headlineRead the Book [Final Chorus] I’ll check the receiptsOpen up the WordTesting every claimAgainst the voice I’ve heard Not every pathLeads where it seemsSo I’m following JesusNot somebody’s dreams I’ll check the receiptsAnd faithfully thinkStanding on the RockWhen everything else begins to sink [Outro] Raise an eyebrow...Open your Bible...Check the receipts...And hold fast to what’s true... Faith Audio Arsenal | I Don't Need A Title

Everybody wants to make an impact. Most people just aren’t sure where to start. We live in a world that celebrates platforms, followers, influence, and visibility. The Kingdom of God often works differently. Many of the people who changed lives, strengthened believers, shared the gospel, and advanced God’s mission never stood behind a pulpit. They simply served where God placed them. This week’s anthem is for the prayer warriors nobody sees. The encouragers nobody applauds. The servants who show up when there’s work to be done. The ordinary believers doing extraordinary Kingdom work one faithful step at a time. Because you don’t need a title to obey a calling. Lyrics: I Don’t Need A Title [Verse 1] I spent years lookin’ for a platformWonderin’ where I fit inWaitin’ on a title and permissionBefore I would begin But the call was never hiddenThe mission never changedJesus wasn’t lookin’ for spectatorsHe was callin’ us by name [Pre-Chorus] Some will teachSome will serveSome will leadSome will learn But every heart surrenderedHas a purpose in the work [Chorus] I don’t need a titleTo answer when You callI don’t need a spotlightTo help someone stand tall You’ve given me a missionRight where I am todaySo I’ll serve You where You’ve placed meAnd walk the narrow way The office may belong to a fewBut the mission belongs to us all [Verse 2] Some are preachin’ from the pulpitSome are prayin’ through the nightSome are teachin’ at a kitchen tablePointin’ someone toward the light Some are holdin’ broken hearts upSome are speakin’ words of truthHeaven sees the hidden laborAnd the faithful things we do [Pre-Chorus] Some will sowSome will reapSome will standSome will weep But every act of servicePlants a seed for eternity [Chorus] I don’t need a titleTo answer when You callI don’t need a spotlightTo help someone stand tall You’ve given me a missionRight where I am todaySo I’ll serve You where You’ve placed meAnd walk the narrow way The office may belong to a fewBut the mission belongs to us all [Bridge] Not everybody gets a stageNot everybody gets applause But every prayerEvery kindnessEvery witnessEvery sacrifice Is written in the hands of God Not everybody leads a crowdNot everybody wears a name But every servantEvery laborerEvery discipleEvery saint Advances Heaven’s Kingdom just the same [Final Chorus] I don’t need a titleTo answer when You callI don’t need a spotlightTo help someone stand tall You’ve given me a missionRight where I am todaySo I’ll serve You where You’ve placed meAnd walk the narrow way The office may belong to a fewBut the mission belongs to us all [Outro] So I’ll goAnd I’ll serveAnd I’ll trust You with the rest ‘Cause the Kingdom moves forwardThrough the faithful and the blessed The mission belongs to us all This is a public episode.
