Life has been busy in the best way, so this week's episode is one big catch-up. I'm sharing highlights from my dad and brother's visit, giving you an update on officially starting my journey as a Solidcore coach, and introducing a new "Word of the Week" segment that I'm excited to keep going. We're also talking about the fact that I somehow spent the entire weekend shopping, joined a new gym, and immediately decided to try both boxing and cycling (which I surprisingly loved). Naturally, I'm already eyeing a trampoline fitness class because apparently collecting workout memberships is my newest hobby. Plus, I have some home updates—including a new mirror, a new plant, and my mission to transform our guest closet into something much more functional. I'm also embracing the "July It Girl" energy, sharing my latest facial experience, and catching you up on everything I'm currently watching. Chaos Runs in the Family

Drybar Is an Investment

This week I'm defending some of my most controversial opinions, starting with why my Drybar membership is absolutely an investment and not an expense. We're also discussing my company's upcoming sponsored baseball game (which, to my dismay, is still a baseball game), why finding the right outfit remains the most important part of the experience, and my ongoing dislike of buffets. Somewhere along the way, we get into the evolution of school cafeteria food, why middle school wasn't actually that bad for me, the surprisingly complicated story behind how I got my name, and the childhood injustice of my sister getting a potty-training chart while I apparently got nothing. And because priorities matter, I eventually cut the episode short because I was craving chips and queso and frankly had reached the end of my attention span. As always, it's a mix of life updates, unnecessary opinions, and stories nobody asked for but you're getting anyway.

The Plot Twist I Was Hoping For

The Solidcore audition update is finally here... and I have news! After all the nerves, outfit planning, and overthinking, I can officially share that I received an offer to coach at Solidcore! This episode is a full life update celebrating that exciting next chapter, plus all the random things currently taking up space in my brain. My brother is coming to visit this week, I'm sharing my word of the week, discussing why overhead lighting should honestly be illegal, and explaining my very specific tanning requirements (pool only, obviously). We're also catching up on what I'm watching lately and my current obsession with celebrity memoirs—because apparently I need to know every detail of someone's life story. Tomorrow Is the Audition and I'm Unwell

The Solidcore audition is officially tomorrow, and I would like everyone to know that I am handling it completely normally. (I'm not.) This week I'm talking through all of my pre-audition nerves, the outfit I've decided to wear, why a fresh blowout feels absolutely necessary, and my ongoing belief that a spray tan might solve at least some of my problems. Somewhere in between the anxiety, excitement, and overthinking, we also manage to cover a few other topics that I genuinely can't remember because my brain is currently operating at 100% audition mode.
