Send us Fan Mail [https://www.buzzsprout.com/2605799/fan_mail/new] Today we are studying Acts Chapter 20. In this chapter, Paul continues his journey of ministry, encouragement, and farewell. He travels through Macedonia and Greece, strengthening the believers. In Troas, he teaches late into the night, and a young man named Eutychus falls from a window and is restored to life. Later, Paul meets with the elders from Ephesus and gives them a deeply emotional farewell message. He reminds them how he served the Lord with humility, tears, and trials. He tells them that he is going to Jerusalem, not knowing exactly what will happen, except that the Holy Spirit has warned him that chains and afflictions await him. Acts 20:24 says, “But I count my life of no value to myself, so that I may finish my course and the ministry I received from the Lord Jesus, to testify to the gospel of God’s grace.” This chapter reminds us to serve faithfully, guard the church carefully, and finish the work God has given us. Episode 1 Corinthians Chapter 9 - When Surrender Helps Others See Jesus Cover

1 Corinthians Chapter 9 - When Surrender Helps Others See Jesus

Send us Fan Mail [https://www.buzzsprout.com/2605799/fan_mail/new] Today we continue our study through the Book of 1 Corinthians with Chapter 9. In this chapter, Paul defends his apostleship and explains how he willingly surrendered certain personal rights and freedoms for the sake of the Gospel. Although Paul had the right to receive financial support and certain freedoms as an apostle, he chose at times to lay those rights aside so that nothing would hinder people from hearing about Jesus Christ. Paul also compares the Christian life to the discipline and focus of an athlete training for a race. 1 Corinthians Chapter 5 - When God Calls His Church to Holiness

Send us Fan Mail [https://www.buzzsprout.com/2605799/fan_mail/new] Today we continue our study through the Book of 1 Corinthians with Chapter 5. In this chapter, Paul confronts serious sin that had been tolerated within the Corinthian church. Rather than mourning over sin and pursuing holiness, some believers had become prideful and passive toward behavior that dishonored God. Paul reminds the church that believers are called to purity, accountability, and spiritual integrity because they belong to Christ.
