Many causes have been theorised for The Late Bronze Age Collapse - a major one being the appearance of a mysterious peoples from the blue, a terror from the seas that wiped out civilization after civilization. Ancient Egypt was one of the few kingdoms able to hold off this mystery alliance, and here we have the Pharaoh Rameses III describing his struggle against the impending doom and fire of those legendary "Sea Peoples".
