Hebrews 10 says, "It is a dreadful thing to fall into the hands of the living God." Queen Jezebel is about to experience the full weight of that. This is Hope From The Word a ministry of Calvary Chapel of Marlton. You might recall, Jezebel was responsible for introducing Baal worship in Israel. But that doesn't tell the whole story. In short, she was one of the most wicked Queens in all of Israel's history. Just as the Prophets foretold, she would be brought down in a gruesome way. Pastor Bill Luebkemann will tell the story of God's poetic and perfect justice today from Second Kings nine. 2 Kings 17

Welcome to Hope From the Word. Our teacher is Pastor Bill Luebkemann, and he is the senior pastor at Calvary Chapel of Marlton, where our broadcast originates. Currently, Pastor Bill is leading us chapter by chapter through the Old Testament book of Second Kings. Today we begin a two-part look at chapter seventeen, so turn there if you would. As we'll soon see Israel is about to do exactly what God told them not to do. They were worshipping other gods, and this idol worship provoked the Lord to anger. Through it all God continues to warn them to turn from their ways, and come back to Him. I think as you study along with us, you'll be struck by the amazing parallels with what's going on in our own country. Here's Bill with Second Kings seventeen… To support this ministry financially, visit: https://www.oneplace.com/donate/1698/29?v=20251111
