Bearers of His Image

To bear the image of God is to live as a visible expression of the Father. Pastor Kuti Olusola reminds us that Jesus is the visible image of the invisible God. God made seen, touched, and known. Through Christ, we see the Father’s nearness, faithfulness, mercy, leadership, and desire to dwell with His people, not merely visit them. As bearers of His image, believers are called to live with gratitude, reflect the character of Christ, follow the leading of the Spirit, and grow year after year into clearer examples of God’s nature. This is a call to move beyond passive Christianity into a life that is led, responsive, fruitful, and visibly shaped by Jesus.

The Image of God in Christ Jesus

Christ is the complete image of God. Before Jesus, God revealed parts of Himself through people like Adam, Abraham, Moses, David, Rahab, and others. But those pictures were scattered, and without Christ, they could easily be misunderstood, misused, or interpreted through fear, sin, trauma, culture, or personal experience. In this teaching, we see that Jesus is God’s fully arranged picture: the true standard by which every other example must be understood. As believers behold Him, we are not only corrected in how we see God, but transformed into living examples of His faithfulness, provision, wisdom, holiness, authority, and love.

Contemplating The Christ

Contemplating Christ is how believers are formed into His image. This message calls us to fix our gaze on Jesus. Not merely admiring Him, but deeply considering His life, sacrifice, authority, character, and example until we are changed by what we behold. As each believer reflects Christ in their own unique way, the Church becomes a living expression of God’s manifold wisdom: many colors, many graces, many gifts, brought together in one body. A powerful call to become clearer projections of Christ, to discover the color God has placed in our lives, and to let the Spirit harmonize our differences into a beautiful witness of Jesus.

The Place The Lord Loves

Zion is not just a place God mentions. It is a picture of the kind of life He loves. The place the Lord loves is where His kingdom shapes how people live: their values, decisions, work, service, prayer, holiness, and dependence on Him. This teaching explores Zion as the seat of God’s kingdom and the temple as a picture of what must remain at the core of every believer: service that shines with holy wisdom, a life of prayer, confidence in God’s provision, submission to His authority, and devotion to His Word. A clear call to build a life God can dwell in, not only publicly through service, but privately through prayer, holiness, and trust.

Overcoming Paralyzing Fear

Fear does not only make people afraid, it can keep them from moving. Paralyzing fear grows when the wrong information becomes louder than faith. This teaching exposes how fear is formed, why uncertainty often stops people from acting, and how believers must learn to walk by faith rather than waiting for perfect conditions. It also confronts low self-esteem, undeveloped competence, and a victim mindset as major reasons people shrink back from opportunities God may be leading them into. A practical and stirring call to grow in faith, develop competence, reject timidity, and receive the boldness to pursue what God has placed ahead.
