How's Your Soil?

In this message from Mark 4:1–20, Jesus uses a metaphor for the spiritual life that is very familiar to a lot of us: plant care. He describes how the hearts of men and women can be likened to the soil of a garden. The success of the seed, which here represents the Word of God, depends on the condition of the soil. Jesus explains four different types of soil and how they each react differently to the Word of God. The question for us is, how's your soil?

The True Family of Jesus

Belonging and identity are interrelated. Who we belong to says something about who we are.
