Summary In this episode of Meditations, we reflect on the powerful question God asked Jeremiah: “What do you see?” from Jeremiah 1:11-12. What we see determines how we interpret life, how we respond to challenges, and the choices we make. Using the story of David and Goliath, we learn that while others saw a giant, David saw an uncircumcised Philistine standing against the armies of the living God. His vision shaped his courage, his words, and his actions. This episode reminds us that we cannot truly change our behavior until we allow God to change what we see. When we look at ourselves, our future, our pain, and our circumstances, we must learn to see through the eyes of faith and revelation. Jesus Himself said in John 5:19 that He did what He saw the Father doing. That is the highest form of spiritual vision: not seeing what fear says, not seeing what pain says, but seeing what the Father is doing. Key Scriptures Jeremiah 1:11-121 Samuel 17:26John 5:192 Kings 6:17Genesis 28:16 Key Points What you see determines how you interpret your circumstances. What you see influences your behavior, choices, and actions. David defeated Goliath because he saw differently. You cannot change your behavior until you change what you see. Spiritual sight comes by revelation, not imagination. Prayer, fasting, God’s Word, and God’s presence open our eyes to see what the Father is doing. Reflection Question When you look at yourself, your future, your challenges, and your current season, what do you see? Prayer Focus Lord, open my eyes to see what You are doing. Help me to see myself, my future, and my circumstances through Your Word and by Your Spirit. Season 5 Episode 159

In today’s episode of Meditations, we reflect on Paul’s warning in Colossians 2:8: “Beware lest any man spoil you through philosophy and vain deceit, after the tradition of men, after the rudiments of the world, and not after Christ.” Paul reminds us that a believer can be captured without physical chains. Wrong ideas, empty philosophies, human traditions, and worldly systems can quietly take hold of the mind and lead the heart away from Christ. This episode encourages us to guard our minds, test every belief by the Word of God, and ensure that our values, choices, and lifestyle are truly “after Christ.” Key Thoughts Not every popular idea is godly. Not every deep-sounding philosophy is true. Not every tradition is biblical. Not every cultural value agrees with Christ. The real question for every believer is: Is this after Christ? Reflection Questions What ideas have been shaping your mind lately? Are your convictions coming more from Scripture or from the culture around you? Is there any tradition, habit, or belief in your life that needs to be submitted to Christ? How can you become more intentional about guarding your heart and mind? Prayer Focus Pray for discernment to recognize deception. Ask God to renew your mind through His Word. Pray for the courage to reject every philosophy, tradition, and worldly system that is not after Christ. Declaration My mind belongs to Christ. My values are shaped by the Word of God.I will not be carried away by empty philosophies or worldly systems. My life is built after Christ. Related Scriptures Proverbs 4:23Romans 12:22 Corinthians 10:5John 8:31-321 John 4:1 Thank you for listening to Meditations. Keep your heart in the Word, and let your life be built after Christ.

Season 5 Episode 158

Summary Many people expect God to change their lives by changing their circumstances—money, promotion, connections, or a sudden miracle. But Scripture repeatedly shows a different pattern: when God wants to transform a person, He begins by sending His Word. In this episode, we explore why the phrase “And the word of the LORD came unto me, saying…” is often the start of life-change—because God’s Word brings identity, correction, direction, strength, and lasting transformation from the inside out. Key Points * God often changes a person before He changes their situation. * Money can improve comfort, but only the Word can reshape character and convictions. * The Word of God doesn’t only inform—it confronts, discerns, and rebuilds the inner man. * God’s Word brings clarity and direction, even when the season is uncertain. * God speaks in exile, storms, and confusion—not only in “perfect” conditions. * When God sends His Word, He is not just sending information—He is sending His presence and power. * Our response matters: receive, obey, confess, and remain in the Word daily. Main Scriptures Jeremiah 1:4–5 (KJV) — “Then the word of the LORD came unto me, saying…” Hebrews 4:12 (KJV) — The Word is living, powerful, and discerning. Psalm 119:105 (KJV) — God’s Word is a lamp and a light for direction. Ezekiel 1:3 (KJV) — “The word of the LORD came expressly unto Ezekiel…”

Key Scripture “Therefore with joy shall ye draw water out of the wells of salvation.” — Isaiah 12:3 In today’s episode of Meditations, we reflect on the beautiful promise in Isaiah 12:3. Salvation is not dry, empty, or powerless. It is a deep well of grace, peace, strength, mercy, and refreshing. But the believer must learn to draw from that well — and Isaiah tells us that we draw with joy. Joy is more than a feeling. It is the spiritual confidence that God is our salvation, our strength, and our song. Even when life feels dry, the well of salvation is never empty. In Christ, we have access to living water every day. In this meditation, you will be encouraged to draw again — draw strength for your assignment, peace for your heart, wisdom for your decisions, grace for your weakness, and hope for your future. Key Thought:Salvation is not just something God did in your past; it is a well from which you can draw daily. Prayer Focus:Ask God to restore your joy, refresh your heart, strengthen your faith, and teach you to draw daily from the wells of salvation.

Key Scripture Habakkuk 3:17–18: “Although the fig tree shall not blossom, neither shall fruit be in the vines; the labour of the olive shall fail, and the fields shall yield no meat; the flock shall be cut off from the fold, and there shall be no herd in the stalls: Yet I will rejoice in the Lord, I will joy in the God of my salvation.” Summary What happens when the things you prayed for do not appear? What do you do when the fields seem empty, the harvest is delayed and life is not going according to plan? In this episode of Meditations, we reflect on Habakkuk’s powerful declaration of faith: “Yet I will rejoice in the Lord, I will joy in the God of my salvation.” Habakkuk teaches us that Christian joy is not built on favourable circumstances, material possessions or visible success. True joy is anchored in the unchanging character of God. We may honestly acknowledge our losses and disappointments, while still choosing to worship, trust and rejoice in the Lord. In this episode, you will be encouraged to: * Rejoice in God even when circumstances are painful. * Root your joy in God’s presence rather than material outcomes. * Trust that God remains faithful in seasons of delay and loss. * Make worship a deliberate response of faith.
