He prayed for himself in the Battle, This showed his heart, “keep me from evil, that it may not grieve me” The Provision that Followed him- vs 10, “God granted him that which he requested”

We all are living in the “now” We see through a glass darkly. We see a reflection, but it’s an imperfect one. In this passage we’re reminded that although there is a “For now” the “But then” is coming! Scripture reminds us constantly that “now” is temporary but “then” is eternal!
