Romans: God Keeps His Promises

Romans 11 reminds us that God is faithful to His promises. Though many Israelites rejected Jesus, God has not rejected His people. Instead, He is using the salvation of the Gentiles to provoke Israel to faith. Paul compares God's people to an olive tree, warning Gentile believers against pride and emphasizing that salvation is entirely by God's grace.

Romans 9 is about God's sovereign choice—His people are defined by promise, not background or effort. It raises the question of whether that feels fair, and it also makes clear that God is free in how He shows mercy while people are still responsible for their response. Romans: Distorting Grace

Paul corrects two errors about grace. Grace is not permission to live however we want; those united with Christ have died to sin and are called to a new life. Romans: Hope Is Not Hollow

Romans 5 reminds us that through Jesus, we are made right with God and brought into peace with Him. Our faith is not hollow, it is full of hope because God's heart has always been for reconciliation.
